  1. Greater video and I want to try the game out now too, but I'm honestly missing a bit of an introduction for the game, like why don't you have grenades? Could you choose some kind of hero at the beginning? And some other questions 😅

Edit: checked the beginning of the video again and the start got Skipped in less then 7 seconds that's probably why I didn't see the "character selection screen" or what that was

  2. Thanks for playing our jetpack Bullet Heaven game! Your feedback helps us make this game the best it can be. Lots of exciting content and improvements (like making objectives easier to see) coming down the road. Fight on, Jumper!

  3. Absolutely LOVE seeing this video. Welcome back to the Jump Corps Wanderbot! This commentary is amazing and has made me hungry for Ocra and Sausages as well. I am glad you took a break for dinner as a hangry jumper will not survive in the depths of the crystal caverns.

Keep watch for updates and improvements such as adding the Ability to Banish items (currently locked behind an achievement) , Improved Notifications (Mini Map Indications), Additional Maps, Weapons, and more!

  4. I feel like Banish (and Re-rolls) is there to combat bloat but then Developers end up really limiting it because they don't have enough upgrades / enough upgrades early (which is fixed by leaving more in by default which fixes early runs). You might not want to give them unlimited free Banishes but there's many ways to balance it like you can only banish once per level up, you can only banish OR lock, if you banish the next level up has 1 less option, you cannot lock on next level up, you could have items that drop that gives you a Banish, level up option that gives you "x" free Banishes/Rerolls, level up option that lets you banish all of a specific type of upgrade/upgrades with specific tag, you get a free Banish every "x" levels (different per character), you have a "chance for free Banish" stat (or even just tied to Luck stat), have it cost some resource you can pickup during a run or you can go with it being boring meta progression but have the early levels be really cheap and unlocked by default or an achievement you would easily even accidently do early. (Also you should have a Skip option that gives you some flat stat upgrade that might be tied to your character/class and maybe even gives you a heal or how you gain back level up slots you have Banished previously)

  5. There are great underpinnings to this game, but it isn't even half baked. I really hope the devs have the right people telling them how to fix things. The meta grind is ridiculous, and the upgrade paths are very broken. No one cares about grenades, they should either be a completely separate thing or stripped entirely – all they are doing is polluting the choices right now. Also, the waves ramp up WAY too hot, even by wave #3 the little mini guys are moving as fast as you are. Without some decent luck on upgrade choices, you are simply fucked. The jetpack is a cute notion, but other than extremely rare terrain getaways it offers nothing that your common dash doesn't, and the fuel supply is a joke.

They can fix this game, I hope they don't think that they are on the right path with the way things are now. I'm parking it and will try it again after some hopefully big updates.
