Bryce Dallas Howard (Jurassic World franchise) is Elly Conway, the reclusive author of a series of best-selling espionage novels, whose idea of bliss is a night at home with her computer and her cat, Alfie. But when the plots of Elly’s fictional books—which center on secret agent Argylle and his mission to unravel a global spy syndicate—begin to mirror the covert actions of a real-life spy organization, quiet evenings at home become a thing of the past.
Accompanied by Aiden (Oscar® winner Sam Rockwell), a cat-allergic spy, Elly (carrying Alfie in her backpack) races across the world to stay one step ahead of the killers as the line between Elly’s fictional world and her real one begins to blur.

I absolutely loved this trailer and it drew me right in only for me to be thoroughly disappointed with the movie lmao.

I loved the trailer when I first watched. It is incredibly rare to have a movie where the main character is an author and finds herself being drawn into the world she created.
I sadly didn't get the chance to see the movie in Cinemas, and tried to temporarily sign up to Apple +only to have e the code denied more than once. 🙁 For some reason, in my home country, Australia, there are no dvd reorders in any stores which is a little odd. I've resorted to reorder from an online store.

Bryce Dallas Howard was so pretty before she got fat. The problem is that today it seems you are not allowed to say it anymore when a person became fat. Typical American to hide the talking about it as if then the problem goes away. Everyone is afraid of causing anorexia while the number of deaths caused by fat is way way way higher. Bryce is fat and being fat is not healthy
IMO this got ruined by the casting of the male lead. Way too old, for one thing.

What an awful film! Unfortunately the lead actress is so large she has to have a stand-in for practically every scene. Her mum has had so much facial surgery she looks like a mannequin.

This movie is worth it. I completely love the flow it’s a masterpiece of wonder. It captures your attention with all the scenery. It feels like you’re watching your watching someone else’s imagination. I’m in love with it.
I like the movie especially the lady from the Jurassic World movies. She sure has gained some weight though
I was so excited by the premise and the cast, but ultimately I was embarrassed that I chose this movie when it was my pick for movie night. I felt like I had to finish it because I paid to rent it…. But it was really quite horrible.
I find it sarcastic how many plot twists this has, i hope it gets a sequel. I loved kingsman movies and they are my favorite, except the third one becuse it does not have action scenes. But people have bad taste these days (it did not do well in box office), and would rather eat up sequels than something new.
So bad. I want my 2 hours back.
