It's really sad this happened and innocent people died because of scumbag criminals who don't care and have nothing to lose. The sheriff's department could have responded better in this situation but the scene was still dangerous for one deputy and had to wait for backup to arrive and secure the scene.

The officer is not a paramedic and he doesn’t know if a bullet hit her spine so moving her could kill her as well.

He could’ve checked her body for pulse and kept her alert, he could’ve been a support to her at least, the basic of human decency
