  1. I'm hearing all the pain sighs
Mike I'm 79 and you are still young please take care of your pain now and in the future you have lots of time to build your homestead
Slow It down and heal. an in the future work and play smart

  2. Keep resting, Mike. Even when you feel well enough to start doing things it could set you back for days. Best to be safe than sorry. We all want our CRAZY Mike back. 🙂

  3. Mike is a grown man he can make his own decisions to work or rest guys he doesn’t need to be told what to do, give him respect to know his limits. , he may be silly and not to cautious but can’t be labeled a cry baby .

  4. I feel your pain. I fell the other night and broke my tail bone. So sitting, standing and walking are a major challenge. I'm 65 and normally in a wheel chair. It's a whole thing. Please rest when you can and don't over do it. You'll feel it later. Much love to you all and prayers for your continued improvement.

  5. Everything is going to come in time. You're going to have chickens, and maybe other animals.. Garden maybe fall of 2025? Get the shed to house done.. Water catchment done.. Grassy front yard.. maybe a car port to help with water catchment.. a garden while important in future is not a priority this forst year. You need to be ready or winter, clear more land.

  6. Mike, you are sounding a bit better. You know your limits and Lyssa we know you won't let him overdue. We are all having garden problems this year. Roxane has been gardening for awhile. Next year you'll have a garden full of flowers and vegetables. Can't wait to see how big the chicken "coop" will be.

  8. I totally get the pain you are experiencing. I had a similar accident (not on an E-Bike and a ditch), but totally bruised my left chest area. It knocked the breath out of me. I hurt soooo bad that I had to lie there several minutes before I could think about moving. So, yes I know that pain of core muscles. I did go for x-rays and no broken/cracked bones, but Doc said pain was worse with muscle bruising/bone bruising that an actual break. Glad you are mending. I am 98% better. Still have a few reminders I’m not totally back when I turn a certain way, or sneeze!

  9. I like you and your family and I enjoy the many of the things you do. You need to take better care of your tools, equipment products that have been given to you. The solar panels are just laying in the mud and gunk because you haven't taken care of them. Glad that you are getting help with various projects. When you are hurt Mike you need to take care of yourself. You need to heal dude. Inside bruising is very serious.

  10. On the issue of the dogs escaping by digging out, try putting some of the logs from your cut down trees on the inside of the fencing. Laying horizontal. I don't know that it will really stop them but I'm pretty sure it will slow them down. And then you won't have to burn as much stuff just the brush.

  11. Happy you all had a nice 4th on the 41.36 with the framily! We bowed out of the festivities here, but we have been trying to stay away from the heat due to our old age. The heat dehydrates me so very fast and my hubby has already been in the hospital twice for heat exhaustion! Don’t strain yourself too much Mike, don’t want you hurting more either! One percent is an improvement to your body Mike. Maybe you will work all the muscle soreness out by doing a little bit of movement here and there. Never know until you try, huh?😊❤
