Your trusty Wirebug returns and is more useful than ever, with the addition of new abilities for all 14 weapon types that bring a new level of flexibility and depth to the hunting action.

Your new base of operations features a variety of locals to interact with, each with their own charming personality. Sometimes they will need your hunter’s help, and sometimes they will be the ones who help you out!

I won't go hunt with -21 dragon resistance , teammates can't see my damage, they will remember a guy who cart everytime the monster pops off

I haven't played monster hunter since tri and this looks nuts.
Not a fan of courage hammer style i am more a fan of the old skool impact crater and nomal hits. With wirebug wisper level 3 u can almost spam impact crater wich does allot of dps. Put some level 3 slugger on there and u pretty much golden in my opinion.
I'm not sure about Status, but Impact Burst does not benefit from Elemental damage. It's purely Raw. Still a good pair to match with Courage style, but it might not actually be helping you Paralyze the monster faster.
Eating gourmet fish helps to counter dereliction.

Thanks for the sweet build Cowboy! I swapped out the dereliction pieces for malzeno braces and golm greaves and picked up slugger 3 and Stam thief 3.
Makes for a very effective lockdown build.

I'm not at end-game yet, but is focus just not necessary for courage hammer? I found lvl 2 focus gives charge up each swing, but I dont see it in many builds
When using Impact Burst, how are you getting 3 simultaneous hits in instead of just 2?
I use the Iron Devils Souls for my hammer which I still love. I'll post the armor and skills under when I get back from work as I can't remember exactly right now.

Is it not worth having slugger+3?
Evade extender do wonders for repositioning with the hammer a lvl2 min…. Also no charge master no slugger….
Dereliction builds kinda suck on multiplayer Mayhem blood rite will do nothing if the monster is always jumping around from light bow gun to light bow gun users loool
I was just rolling through making a build for each weapon and realized that a full Shagaru build for hammer really doesn't work in my favor like my hyrbid hunting horn (2 shag, 2 Luna for agitator, and Malzeno's waist) allowing me to really play comfortably with the Hunting Horn's shockwaves and part breaks
Given the set-play of Dereliction, I can definitely see myself making use of this build for bigger damage
The live demonstration was also a nice enough reference point, and good note on calling hammer a type of lock-down weapon

Since I’m not using dereliction, I can squeeze in a couple level of charge master/slugger/stamina thief. How would you rate these skills, or should I just get some levels of critical eye instead?
