Honestly it doesn't make any sense. If there's a rule of two it's completely thrown out the window on multiple occasions. There 3 Sith then 4 then 5 in a half.
That’s stupid, let’s release a book in 2012 and rewrite the prequels because they mainly sucked except ep 3. These lores are so dumb.
Maybe the movie did a poor job of showing it but I thought Maul always had the upper hand in the battle and it was a slip up/overconfidence that got him
