Parkland fireworks: Judge EXPLODES on Nikolas Cruz lawyer for bringing up HER children

Parkland trial Judge Elizabeth Scherer went ballistic on Nikolas Cruz’s lawyer who objected to statements from victim family members criticizing the defense team and making reference to their children. During the argument, Cruz’s attorney rhetorically asked the judge how she would feel if it were her children being brought up, and the judge snapped at the attorney and had him removed from the defense table and sent to the back of the courtroom.

  1. This is a dumb and emotional response from the judge. He’s not trying to threaten her kids, and she is making his point by going crazy just from him saying “if this were your kids being mentioned you would feel differently” – and how does she respond? She loses her mind, her cool, and she makes up things that never happened, like him “threatening” her kids. Just such a dumb response from her.

  2. Judges are way to lenient, after the first request to sit down was not obeyed the second order should have been i find you in contempt of court you will spend 48 hours in jail and a $5000 fine to help you think about what respecting a judge means.

  3. I would like anyone reading this to know a little bit more context:
Marjorie stone man Douglass highschool is frozen in time, 7 years later. It is only now being demolished. Nothing has moved or changed since February 14, 2017. The laptops are still open on the desks, the belongings scattered on the ground, the blood still on the floor. For the jury to walk through the school and to see the absolute massacre in the hallways and the worn out teddys and crumbled flowers in front of the school fence. I remember seeing a short clip recorded by shaking students sobbing in a corner as their classmate lay dead in front of them and eventually all being evacuated from the building. This 10 second clip still weighs in my mind to this day. I was their same age. No one is safe

  4. To defend the Parkland shooter, you have to be some kind of slimy sleazeball anyway. But, when she gave orders and the lawyer just kept asking over and over again and ignoring her orders, she should have held him in contempt. On top of that, to say they have endured more than anyone in the courtroom, even the parents who had their children taken from them by THEIR DEFENDANT, is just unbelievable. What garbage.

  5. He did NOT threaten your children “he said judge I’m sure if the prosecution mentioned “your children” that would not go unnoticed” where is the threat?

He did not say he was going to harm your children nor did he indirectly say your children would be harmed. You did too much!
