  1. Vin makes a great point. This game has so many ways to make the fights go in your favor it's insane and a good chunk of that comes from the stuff you craft. I saw a video about how jumping is better than rolling and he goes on to talk about how items are pretty op if you know the fight you are up against. I have a feeling the people that complain about the difficulty don't even engage with a third of what this game has to offer and are too used to the basic dark souls way of fighting (even in those games you had items to help to a lesser extent) me included and forget how helpful a lot of the stuff is if you just start to use them

  3. Note about Rellana's Twin Blades:
The regular attacks scale slightly better with str and dex, but the projectiles scale with int and the flames scale with fai.
So it's better to run either str/dex or int/fai, but in any case you should get rid of your arc.

  4. Just wanted to let you know Vin that I really enjoy following along with your ER videos. I was refreshing earlier waiting for this vid to pop up. I know ER is probably not a top-performing series for you and there's a lot of elitists but personally I really enjoy watching you explore and tackle things your way. You have more of an outsider perspective on Souls games and it's way more enjoyable to me to watch than most of the vets playing this with half a dozen self-imposed rules.
