  1. didn't knew about the manor during the first run (& didn't played with baron, since I wanted no pressure). In the end, I've built a large city, that could just throw wealth on problems and import everything (city specialisation on bread, coal and trade).

… Then I build the Manor and noticed that there is a retinue in the game and my levy army was kinda unnecessary ;D

  2. I give up lmao ive loved the last few days playing but i cant fathom it. Im like 60 days off the raiders coming. And ive only got a few house to level 2. But i can never make anyone make armour or weapons or anything because of my wealth. Aswell as people wanting more things in stalls but their isn't much Berry's or animals anymore. Just completely stuck and its the 3rd time ive tried it. I end up loving my little town then the dreaded raid day gets close and i just leave the game because I cant get prepared quick enough πŸ˜… im just thick as fck lmao

  4. Good video mate! ^ ^ One problem with trading is that after a little while the things I sell lose value and get traded for 1 silver. My economy was amazing, now I can barely hold on.

  5. I'm an actual lord, with enough land to cover 2 or 3 of those zones and quite a few buildings with workers. It is just as fun in real life to micromanage things as it is in the game, though the progression speed, waay different.

  6. tbh right know i dont think this game is that much better than foundation or banished.. but maybe because i am not that kind of hard core gamer, maybe i missed some really important part

  7. It bugs me endlessly how you always plop buildings first and roads later lol. I guess i'm just a Simcity kind of guy.
EDIT: Omg it gets even worse when he starts making fields.

  8. I put my spearnan near the granary to guard it from the bandits, but no bandits coming in or running away n my food still missing… I hope the developer allow the player to defend the resources themselves or put medieval police in the final version…

  9. Generally, everything is fine, but I would question whether leather is really what we want to sell in the first place.

At the beginning, it is better to focus on collecting berries, they are worth 3 coins and we still need them. We just say that we want to have 50 in stock (we won't need more in the first winter anyway) and we sell about 200. this means that we can buy another horse, which speeds up transport in the village and we can easily expand the first 10 houses with chickens and vegetables (less consumption of berries). I tried with skins and in the first game, 7 processed and 8 unprocessed ones were stolen by bandits, I waited a whole year with 0 income to be able to move on. And even if they steal 20-30 berries, we will still earn 300 in the first year. Likewise, firewood is good for continuous sale. Even though we sell a unit with one gold, firstly, production is continuous and secondly, creating a trade route costs 4 gold.

  10. Thanks man, I've been playing all week and kept restarting because I'd pretty much hit a wall. The raiders would arrived before I even had chance to make any good money. But after your explanation of the trade system, I feel confident I can get a lot further now. Well put together video!

  12. I have some iron in my trading post which I imported but the workers in the blacksmith aren't taking them to their house and aren't making any swords. I have maxed out my people in the warehouse and was thinking maybe they need to take them out of the trading post first and put it into the market? is this the case? I might need to build another warehouse then

  13. I couldn't generate taxes. I built my manor, but when adjusting the taxes, even up to 100%, it didn't affect their happiness level. Plus, my gold stayed at zero. Bug?

  14. Very good basic guide.
I love how accurately you've nailed everything ngl. And the way you were explaining.
PS. I think that the two trading perks are ridiculously overpowered. Way more important than any other in the game as of its current state. Well, trading in general is pretty bonkers in this game.

  15. Hi all just wondering.. is there a city size over Large Town? Or at least a way to unlock more devolpment than 6? or is it based on game type your playing? Easy vs raiders vs Baron I am doing Baron and have taken back 3 regions by force but he has full armies every time.. one time he attacked to defencd 2 times in teh time limit both times with same Mercs and a full 36 man Retiune

  16. Been playing for probably 12 hours and not getting it fine tuned. I just lost my first battle to bandits because I didn't know how to move my units 🀣 so excited to take another stab at the game after this video. Thank you!!

  17. gave it a shot earlier today; frankly the current most noticeable issue is clarity of info.
how much exactly am I producing? how much exactly they are consuming? How many do I produce per day? Which building is functional with how many family assigned?
I constantly struggle with these info, cycling through buildings over and over and over trying to figure it out…
these are things I hope to see getting improved; could learn from other games like Frostpunk & Anno – they present their production info so incredibly well.
