Angry Passenger Yells at Flight Attendants Over Crying Baby

One passenger on a Southwest Airlines flight had a total meltdown after listening to a crying baby for 35 minutes. The tirade unfolded on a flight from Baltimore, Maryland, to Orlando, Florida. As flight attendants told him to calm down, the angry passenger yelled, trying to quiet the baby. Other passengers even chimed in but his rant grew more explosive. Inside Edition’s Ann Mercogliano has more details.

  1. It is frustrating whenever there’s a crying baby on a flight. I understand this person’s frustration but he made a complete fool of himself. I paid $25 for a pair of wireless headphones a while back and they have been AMAZING. Whenever I don’t want to talk to anyone I just put them on.

  2. Yeah, it‘s a baby. But why should I have to endure 30 min of crying, or a puppy whining, a dog barking or a human shouting? People have a need and a right to not be disturbed. I‘m not doing my singing excercises on the plane either. And I love puppies.

  4. I think that the point is not if the baby was crying. They will stop crying eventually. The point is the amount of time one has to hear a baby crying. After a few minutes it is frustrating. Not everyone has the same mental condition.

  5. OMG what a insatiable man having a temper tension over fact a actual child having a temper attention how pathetic is he doing that? Does he not care that the mother is trying her best? Does he not understand? Children don’t understand their own emotions so they get frustrated. They cry and he has a go at the air attendant about just pathetic.

  6. I think the flight attendents choose sides. We have seen reports of mothers with crying babies being kicked off flights because passengers were complaining. So flight attendents is seems, get to play god.

  7. A 50 year-old man-baby from Baltimore probably hasn't been on a plane since the Obama administration and promptly has his own meltdown. The irony!!! If he can't handle discomfort, he should probably give up on traveling.

  8. It’s the parents fault. They need to control their crotch fruit and take accountability for their poor parenting. People shouldn’t have to put up with a disgruntled child or flight attendants. The parents play victim

  9. I just got off a flight where the child Screeched throughout, not crying, just a high pitched screech, you could see he was just playing up being bored, parents were not prepared with things to occupy him with, if you know your child cannot behave in public then make sure you at least TRY to keep them quiet for the sake of all other passengers, a screeching child is THE worst thing you need on a long flight, but parents not doing anything about it is maddening!
