“Tricky Time For Democracy” | Royal Mail Delays May Stop 90 Constituencies' Postal Votes

Delays to postal votes being delivered are being urgently investigated, a minister has said, amid concerns that some people could be left disenfranchised at the General Election.

Kevin Hollinrake has criticised Royal Mail for failing to deliver ballot packs to voters in some constituencies ahead of polling day on Thursday.

Professor Philip Cowley from Queen Mary University, London joins Talk’s Ian Collins to discuss this further.

  1. It's OK and reasonable for us to question the robustness of postal voting but for some reason not for Trump to ask the same question in 2020 when postal votes made the graph look incredibly odd and in Biden's favour…

  2. Come Friday morning Sir's worst nightmare will have come true, he will have the keys to number 10, or course he will spend the next 5 years claiming that he can't do what he promised, because he is a big fat liar, sorry I meant to say because of 13? years of tory mismanagement, obviously he isn't a big fat liar, he isn't fat!

  3. Another corruption so ppl can't vote & I don't trust them we should have voter IDs & done by our finger prints so counterfieters can't make up fake IDs so fingers print would mean guaranteed they can't interfear because as usual ppl thats not alive & made up ppl they'll use if we don't get a system that's safe so finger print aswell as a voter ID that has your finger print on the ID so has to match up

  4. My ballot paper arrived on monday 1st july in France. No way my vote will count this time with just 3 days for it to get back. I am very angry and this guest is nowhere near concerned enough.
