  1. face it—people can’t choose whether they’re gay or not, its not a trend, and no matter how much you yap about praying the gay away nothing will change. if you have a problem with lgbtq then you should realize that the only problem is YOU and people like you are the reason lgbtq kill themselves so much

  2. Homosexuality is a sin but that does not mean that you should hate people because they are gay. It says it's a sin, but God also taught to love. I don't support the LGBTQ+ community but I know gay people and they're great people. Forcing your child or other people to change just drives them away. But I want to say one more thing.

I hate how people stereotype not only Christians but entire communities because a few people do something weird.

  3. I wouldn't really expect a Catholic to be that aggressive. There are other "christian" religions that seem to be so much worse. The Westboro Baptist Church being at the top of that list.

It takes a lot of energy to be so hateful. I'm pretty sure their Christ would not have agreed with their views about LGBT people. Never mind the getting violent.

  4. Just a reminder that i think is pretty logical: if god wanted gays to be damned to hell, why would he give over 450+ different animals the ability to be homosexual? Thats just hypocritical

Edit: I did not expect people to see this. Sorry if my opinion offended anyone 🤷

  7. If your dad shakes your hand instead of hugging you… that just seems like a dick move. I get if it’s like a stepdad or something or you had a traumatic childhood and need to start somewhere but still a father shouldn’t have to awkwardly shake hands with his son

  8. love all the ppl saying “erm ackshually leviticus” like it wasn’t proven that the bible directly contradicts itself multiple times and that the bible says not to edit the text (deuteronomy 4:2-5) but there are several books that were taken out of the bible bc the clergy decided that it wasn’t part of the biblical canon

one of my other favorite parts of the bible that ppl usually ignore when spouting hateful rhetoric: women speaking in public (1 timothy 2:11-15), praying with your head covered (1 corinthians 11:4-16) which directly contradicts where it says women must always cover their heads (also 1 corinthians)
