There are reports of a new “pollen bomb” expected to hit the UK in the coming days thought to be problematic for sufferers of hay fever and asthma.
Airborne allergens expert Max Wiseberg explains to Talk’s Mike Graham that there has been less hay fever than normal recently because of heavy rainfall – but things are about to change. He says: “All that rain means that the grass is nice and healthy and full of pollen.”
Mike Graham says he thinks he’s particularly affected by certain trees. Suffering with hay fever? Watch for more information.

No mow may is making this worse. My hay-fever has been tolerable until two years ago when my local council introduced no mow may. Its making me seriously sick. I'm fed up of being at the mercy of ideologues who believe no mow may Is going to create biodiversity and save the planet.
Antihistamines don't make a difference.
It’s global warming stupid!
Just after the BS bomb….😂😂😂😂
Excellent mike thanks. Pls do more updates as it saces lives. Pollen allergy is akso linked to raised risk of cardiac & stroke & fatal asthma attacks
Hay Max is brilliant. Ive not had to take hayfever tablets for 7 years now since using this natural balm.
Wow, wind during a day! It's summer and some people suffer from hay fever. No "pollen bomb" at all, just normal weather! 🤦♀️
How much of the pollen Bomb is down to the ridiculous lengths of grass in Britain because of No mow in May and hardly anyone started cutting in June. I’ve seen it chest high in some places
Pollen Bollox, more fear porn.
I’m really happy to hear about the pollen because my eyes have been so itchy for a couple of months now , also my scalp . I’ve never had this before . . I had been starting to wonder if the stripey skies were anything to do with it but now my mind is at rest .
