The fact that you think the ending of War of the Worlds is "silly" or lacking in any way tells me all I need to know about your opinion on good story telling. What? You wanted a flashy final hoorah with the aliens? Big explosions? Perhaps some final action sequence where suddenly humanity powers up and beats the aliens back with superior combat skills? Laughable. The ending was perfect to the theme of the movie. Humanity was hopelessly inferior to the invading aliens. Only by sheer luck and the power of nature did we come out victorious. Not to mention, it is an intriguing finale based on science.
How are you guys gonna release 2 videos titled "the top 20 most hated movie endings", and "the top 30 worst movie endings" a month apart? SPOILER ALERT! Almost All 20 of these are in the top 30 video as well.

Revenge of the Fallen was STUPID! It made me start looking for Michael Bay name on films before I spend money or time to watch it.
The mist’s ending was epic. It was sad and heart-wrenching but it took away the trope that the hero’s don’t die.

T:BD2 ending, in the book, the description of the fight is what they extended in the movie. If they did the end like in the book it would be higher up on this list. The end of The Mist is EPIC.
Stephen King's story endings never end on a good note, are you kidding me? It's freaking Stephen King, there's a reason why he's called Lord of the Horror Genre.
The wicker man was the worst movie I ever wasted my time on.
I know many people gets upset due to the end of several films, but I always wonder, how your ending would be? Not many times received an answer or something remotely interesting.
Also, some endings are exactly how the original book was written. Never understood that complain.
And Tenet? Well, I can’t complain only about the ending since I didn’t understood almost anything about the movie 😅

Would War of the Worlds ending be more accepting if they included a Chekov's Gun scene of Tom Cruise sneezing on an alien!?
I saw Planet of the Apes at the theater and I liked it ok. Paul Giamatti was excellent in it, gets overlooked for being in a "bad" movie. The ending was bizarre, didn't make any sense, but it was unique.
There is water in the air. The aliens in Signs would die from walking around outside.
This delay reminds me of the woman kicked off of the plane for the "misgendering" and the denial of the airline, although they said the words ON CAMERA that the "Pilot kicked the woman off…"
The reason you didn't like the ending of Signs is because you didn't understand the Movie.. They weren't aliens. They were demons.
Signs ending wasn’t that bad! People are being way too harsh on the aliens vulnerability to water, but Shamalayan said it was meant to be a take on failed alien invasion! Also I Am Legend ending is like Hollywood’s views of J6, when they want the cop character to be the tragic hero and the invaders as the boogeymen! The sequel isn’t going to save the movie franchise!

Why are you slamming 'The Mist' ending. It was a stroke of genuius that even Stephen King applauded. It was a horror & what could be more horrible than knowing that had you hung onto hope a little longer, the person you loved the most would've not only survived, but been safe? And, as a parent who loves their children unconditionally, I can promise you that David's soul crushing, gut wrenching scream was wholly appropriate.
This is not a good video. You can clearly tell this was reviewed by Gen Z. All emotion, no nuance.
In 'Man of Steel', I still think making Superman have an emotional crisis through doing the one thing he swore he would never do and his one chance at understanding himself & where he came from, made him more relatable. Logically speaking, if he was raised among humans while being subjected to the full range of human emotions daily for almost his entire life and, the fact that he is also capable of personally feeling most of them, then it stands to reason that there would come a time, sooner or later where he had to face the same range of emotional conflict we do. For him it was a choice between saving the innocent and going against a personal core value along with destroying the only other being who was like him. Who among us would think he did the right thing in letting those innocent people die in place of a being whose intent was to kill them all? Doing so would've undermined Superman's very nature. Keeping religious beliefs out of it, we should also remember that this is a work of fiction but one that is based on our own real experiences with emotion & the very flawed species that we are so, how could any of us relate to someone who is physically present among us but who is also morally perfect in every way? Sometimes we all have to make a choice that's going to be hard to live with but, deep down we know it's the right one.
Jeez David, screaming is a little dramatic, you only killed four people including your son.

I don't get how people find the batman ending confusing. He fixed the autopilot, so wasn't in the blast radius when it went off. Why is that hard to understand?
Nobody with a reasonable IQ wonders what happened to Neeson's character in The Grey.
