Too bad the American working class remains a fragmented and weak social class. It can resolve several crisis going on at the same time if it used its social power in a consciously directed way to take it upon itself to resolve the climate crisis, inflation, housing, and the political crisis escalating more crisis.

People need to get off their fat butts and cook at home, what they get at most fast food restaurants. It's not only a lot cheaper, but a lot more nutritious. Make your own fries at home in the air fryer. You can get 5 lbs of potatoes on sale in the supermarket for around $1.99. At a quality butcher shop, the cost of 80/20 ground beef is pretty low still so you can make your own burgers. They take about 10 to 14 minutes to cook depending on the method.
Basically for what you pay for a burger and fries for one meal at fast food joints, you can get a couple meals for the same price doing it yourself.
