BREAKING: Rockets strike Israel, fired by Hamas from Gaza humanitarian zone | LiveNOW from FOX

Five rockets were fired at Israel from inside of a humanitarian area in Gaza, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said Saturday.

The IDF wrote on its X page, formerly Twitter, “terrorist organizations in Gaza have once again embedded themselves inside of humanitarian infrastructure. Yesterday, five projectiles were launched toward Israel from a humanitarian aid area in central Gaza. Two of them crossed into Israeli territory and three fell within Gaza.”

The war between Israel and Hamas is now in Day 253 with a ceasefire and hostage release deal still on the table. It has been approved by Israel, but the Hamas terror group has not officially responded to it.

In the north, the attacks by Hezbollah from Lebanon against Israel are intensifying, as more rockets and drones are fired simultaneously at northern Israel, striking homes and causing fires.

David Daoud at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies joined LiveNOW from FOX’s Josh Breslow to discuss the latest developments in the Middle East.

  1. A HISTORICAL FACT THAT JEWs WONT LIKE: Modern Day jews are not the descendents of prophet Israel, they are the descendents of a people called Kazar or (khazar), a central-European people who have accepted Judaisim in the old times. These European jews (also known as Ashkinazi)  were scatered around Europe,  and Russia. These same jews are the ones who claim that they are the chosen people of God and the descendents of prophet Israel (Jacob). It is worth mentioning that historians confirm that the tribes descendent from Israel no longer exist at all and from a very long time ago. So, the modern day Jews have no right in the holy-land as the holy land was promised to the sons of Israel and not to some race-mixed Jews whose blood is a mixture of many european and russian peoples. They are simply colonialists who occupy a land in the name of religion.

  3. Who is supplying munitions in a humanitarian area, unless it is hamas who is suppresing Palestine civilians and using them as terrorists shields?

When is the next election in Gaza, considering that the last one was in 2006?

  5. The Israeli authorities are using an experimental facial recognition system known as Red Wolf to track Palestinians and automate harsh restrictions on their freedom of movement, Amnesty International said today.  In a new report, Automated Apartheid, the organization documents how Red Wolf is part of an ever-growing surveillance network which is entrenching the Israeli government’s control over Palestinians, and which helps to maintain Israel’s system of apartheid. Red Wolf is deployed at military checkpoints in the city of Hebron in the occupied West Bank, where it scans Palestinians’ faces and adds them to vast surveillance databases without their consent.

Amnesty International also documented how Israel’s use of facial recognition technology against Palestinians in occupied East Jerusalem has increased, especially in the wake of protests and in the areas around illegal settlements. In both Hebron and occupied East Jerusalem, facial recognition technology supports a dense network of Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras to keep Palestinians under near-constant observation. Automated Apartheid shows how this surveillance is part of a deliberate attempt by Israeli authorities to create a hostile and coercive environment for Palestinians, with the aim of minimizing their presence in strategic areas.

In addition to the constant threat of excessive physical force and arbitrary arrest, Palestinians must now contend with the risk of being tracked by an algorithm, or barred from entering their own neighbourhoods based on information stored in discriminatory surveillance databases.

  6. For the first time, the United Nations secretary-general added the Israeli armed forces to the “list of shame” of warring parties committing grave violations against children in armed conflict. Although long overdue, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres’ action was fully justified.

The UN had already attributed more than 8,700 child casualties to Israeli forces between 2015 and 2022. But in 2023, the scale of violations was apparently too large for the secretary-general to ignore.

His new report found Israeli forces responsible for 5,698 violations, including the killing and maiming of children and attacks on schools and hospitals. He also noted over 23,000 reported but unverified grave violations by all sides against 3,900 Israeli children and 19,887 Palestinian children.

Guterres also added Palestinian armed groups to his list for the first time, including Hamas’ Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades (116 violations) and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad’s Al-Quds Brigades (21 violations) for killing and maiming children and abductions.

This year’s report is grim reading. The UN verified 30,705 grave violations globally in 2023, an increase of 21 percent from the year before. The number of children killed or maimed increased by 35 percent over 2022. The report’s violations also include the recruitment and use of children as soldiers, sexual violence, abduction, attacks against schools and hospitals, and the denial of humanitarian access.

Two-thirds of the global total occurred in six countries: Israel/Palestine, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Myanmar, Somalia, Nigeria, and Sudan. In Myanmar, for example, junta forces were responsible for the documented recruitment and use of 1,171 children, 10 times the number recorded in 2022. In Sudan, violations spiked as the Rapid Support Forces and the Sudanese Armed Forces committed widespread atrocities, notably in Darfur and Sudan’s capital, Khartoum.
