Animals have long been associated with the Army and in the 21st Century it is still the same, but is it?
Soldiers from 23 Parachute Engineer Regiment have been getting their hands on the new Quadruped Uncrewed Ground Vehicle.
The robotic canine, produced by Ghost Robotics will allow our soldiers to shape operations by providing better situational awareness and keeping soldiers safer on the battlefield.
The tests have enabled 16 Air Assault Brigade Combat Team to become the first brigade to be enhanced with Robotic and Autonomous Systems.

Nice vid
Ready to fight against us I see. Good luck.
I FOR ONE SUPPORT OUR NEW ROBOT DOG OVERLORDS!
Check the camouflage people they stick out like a sore thumb
bow down the robotic dog has arrived
They have been trying for years to build this 🤣
Soldiers cannot resist to pet the robot dog
So nobody watched any SCFI movies in the last 30 years!
BATTLEFIELD 2042
Don't like where this is going don't want to see them on my streets like they've been doing in China
Be useful for carryin chit. Thats about it. Use a mule. Its cheaper.
Will they come under the RAVC at Melton Mowbray though? 🤣
Can it dig?
All done for woke diversity and equality…….
Can a lump hammer from the REME fix it I wonder?
Here Boy!!!
I wonder how many they are ordering?
Put a MANPAD on it.
Airborne engineers with robot dogs, very good. Are they a new regiment A.E. ?
That guy's done AACC and AAPPS? That's insane!
This could make a sick video game of like robot dogs and there Human companions.
Game devs make it happen !!!
Cool but can soldiers not get a decent form of communication first
One has to question as to why Boston dynamics invented these bots in the first place. Scientists are as ever incredibly naive as to what their research will actually be truly used for. As if they believed the main usage for these things would ever be peaceful.
I'm getting major Battlefield 2042 vibes here
Put a weapon system on that, Remington shotgun and away you go. Goodbye bad guys
Looks cool.
If the robot sets off an IED then it's better than if a human does.
Lets hope for the sake of the British tax payers, it has rechargeable batteries and not expensive single use batteries.
At the risk of stating the obvious … it's not a 'robotic canine' it's just a robot, end of.
The fan on the front lol. Hope there is some filtration system for all the dirt and water that will get into that.
Wow 😍 my dear British Army 💎 diamond ♥️♥️♥️……absolutely TOP ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 👏
"Oi WHAT UP BRITISH ARMY HOMIES HOLLAH DEM U.S LOCKHEED MARTIN HOMIES, KEEP MAKING DOSE AMERICAN MEDIUM 2 LONG"!!..like "BETWEEN 2500 AND 5000 KILOMETERS LONG RANGE HYPERSONIC HIMARS TYPE 4 LAND, SEA, AIR AND SPACE OFFENSIVE PRECISION PLATFORMS YUH💛💯🇬🇧🪖"!!..
BF2042 moment.
⭐️Cool when the war with America starts , as it inevitably will, we Whip Dog the skin off Birmingham , and force labour camp them Arthur
If it fits in your bergen then great
So cool
What the dog doing.
Sort your beret out HAT.
What's the difference between parachutist engineers not paratroopers and covid……..covid Is definitely airborne
Robots are taking over the British army now?
You should put a smoke grenade attached to it incase it gets spotted and needs to get away.
DOGBOT!
So that's where all the Steam decks went to…:P
I still personally think stuff like drones would be better for stuff like doing recon on compounds as it’s not as loud where as the dog was very clunky and loud
Did they finally teach it to open a door?
Make a vault lock on the belly of it and it will have capabilities of packing c4
