France to provide Ukraine with 'Mirage' fighter jets | DW News

Ukraine’s allies have already begun allowing Kyiv to use Western weapons to attack military targets inside Russia. The French leader, Emmanuel Macron, has even suggested that NATO troops could be deployed within Ukraine – to carry out training missions for example. But NATO boots on the ground in Ukraine, in whatever capacity, would be seen as a significant escalation by Russia.

  1. Correction: The graphic at 2:06 incorrectly says ‘Long-range missiles targeting inside Russia.’ The US has eased limitations on how Ukraine can use American weapons, allowing for some strikes into Russia for the limited purpose of defending Kharkiv, Ukraine's second-largest city. We apologize for the mistake.

  2. Halt, halt!

  5. I think that Ukraine and Russia should agree to a cease fire. Have peace talks in 90 days just to see if they will actually stop fighting. That is a real possibility on the Russian side with Wagner gone. he was an antagonist. There was one on the Ukraine side who was facing banking charges. It will be left to Ukrainians to stop fighting. I think more can be accomplished through negotiations that through fighting. That is what diplomat's are for and they should find someone with a natural talent for it. They should agree that no private armies would be permitted by either country as they seem to be the cause of this war. I think that Russia should pay reparations for those Ukrainians who have lost property or family as there is little chance getting the land back. If the people are satisfied then the government should be as well. Then peace and order can be restored. Ukrainian life will have been altered a bit to how things work but it will be okay. Cooperation on using the ports seems to be something that would be included. Someone smoke a doobie with Zelensky and sing "Give peace a chance" by John Lennon with him.
With reparation's for those who have lost plus the businesses that have vowed to rebuild Ukraine we know that Ukraine can be built back better than ever. Russia does not want the U.S. into the Sea of Azov. I doubt Ukraine will be able to get control of that land back. In return, reparations for those who have lost everything. Put a band aid on the injury to heal the harm to society.

  6. Funny how no one protesting for these countries to stop supplying Ukr with weapons causing the death of soldiers and innocent men and women, while forcing them to accept a peace plan to end the war there…

Instead they hypocritically protest against another country doing the exact same, except not fighting until the last citizen left 😂

  7. When they hit civilian targets, and kidnapped kids, NATO should of secured the airspace. It's not all about rules, imperialists are breaking rules by definition, it's about projection.
