The family of Cyra Magby is mourning her death after the 19-year-old was killed late Tuesday night in a South Side drive-by shooting that police say caused her to crash her car after she was hit by gunfire. Magby’s family says she was a “sweetheart” who would do anything for anybody and that she was an athlete who graduated from Englewood STEM High School in 2023.

As much as they attempt to make these murders seem random, there's usually a reason or motive for the killing. I'm guessing, lifestyle choices are the primary reason. The people, places, things and activities. The people they engage with, places they frequent, things they do and activities they're involved with. Random is not every single day.
I lost my 19 year old daughter the same way 5 years ago. You never get over it.
