  1. Years ago in Portland Oregon I went to science lecture series at the Arlene Schnitzer Hall, and it was on Gamification and one of the founding fathers of the scene gave the talk. The thing that stuck with years later was that he said when they tested wide groups with this formula/simulation…he said there would always be sharks and sociopaths and psychopaths who will tank the whole project for their own reasons, even though in the big picture it didn’t serve them or any of us else playing. He said “not all of them are serial killers…some of them are CEO’s”

    That checks out

  2. Capitalism is one thing, but making profit off humanities basic needs by controlling the market and enslaving regular people and forcing them to be a work horse feeding and housing itself just to be able to keep working towards some artificial end kind of like the dangling carrot in front of the donkey, they like the homeless dirty beggers on the streets to remind the slaves to conform or become a bum

  3. unfettered capitalism destroys anything that gets in its way in the pursuit of profits. It destroys the environment. It destroys our democracy. It discards human beings without a second thought. It will never provide workers with the fulfillment that Americans have a right to expect from their careers. It’s propelled by uncontrollable greed and contempt for human decency

  4. Corporatism will drive humanity to the bottom….our current 'system' in which corporations have co-opted government as a partner in it's aims, rather than a watchdog and balance to it's extremes will ultimately become tyrannical and anti-human. We see that everywhere today as our elites attempt to insulate themselves from the customers and workers. Capitalism will rise from whatever remains at the end of that process, a likely world wide civil war. Capitalism is merely the voluntary exchange of goods and services (Value) and is increasingly rare in the modern world as large organizations control larger market shares. Monopolies and oligopolies do not occur without government doing the bidding of certain competitors, which is not Capitalism.
