The details are crazy sometimes when God leads us to help others.
I was conversing with a neighbor that I don’t particularly like when I decided to force myself to reveal something. It turned out…that very thing was an answer to a deadly ticking time bomb the neighbors daughter has been sitting on, and I just happen to possess a wealth of knowledge on how how to treat it.
Sometimes the circumstances are not conducive to wanting to help anyone, but how rewarding it is to lighten someone else’s burden and to save people from potential travesty.
I have felt drawn by the Holy Spirit to want to help the school out somehow. I keep on asking God how? I am not a teacher, and I have no experience in the educational system. My mom, brother, and I just got back from a road trip through the blue ridge and smoky mountains. We were actually at your church the Sunday before Memorial Day, and the circumstances that led to that at the time seemed providential. I was so sure not a doubt in my mind that I would go and somehow talk to someone from the board and find out how I could help, even it was something real little, but we were at least 15 minutes late and then had to leave right after to get ahead of the storm so I prayed and asked God if this was a closed door? When I got home, I watched the video you made with interviewing the man who is going to be your head of the school, and I was greatly encouraged by his story and struck by his heart for what you all are trying to do. You posted this video. I get done watching it, and then literally minutes later, my mom texts me a picture, and on my watch, I read picture, salt, and light Baptist church. So, I guess I have decided to just ask. Is there anything that you know of that I could help with. My training is as a laboratory scientist if that helps. I will end by saying that what I liked most of all about your churches vision for this school was that it could be an outreach to the kids in your community who may not go to church. I will continue to pray that many will come to know Jesus through this ministry. 🙏

A long battle with cancer . In 1976 my daughter passed away. She was 6! Years old .
