  2. Anyone wondering why the containers which hang under the man are swinging about so much, its not the kit, it is because they are very light for this jump. A full container can weigh as much as the paratrooper and its a quicker, straighter drop with a harder landing.

  4. This operation is known by Russians as opening of the 2nd front. The fact that it happened as late as 6 June 1944 when Russians started to win in the war means that America and Britain were hoping that hitler would win and therefore were not Russia’s allies, who didn’t give a shit about France either as it was occupied by the nazis back in June 1940…
