I m pretty sure joy boy didn t flood the world however my certainty comes from a translation and maybe you or anybody who read it in japanese will be able to clarify this. The translation I read for chapter 1115 said something that I ve been theorizing for a long time and that s why I thought it was a correct translation. What I read Vega punk said that the world they live in now is just fragments of one ancient continent so this means that all land was just one big continent just like in real life the continent Pangea that also means there was only one big Sean must likely. The continente was most likely shattered in to pieces by one ancient weapon and then floods began until that point pirates didn t exist because there wasn t a need for pirates. Pirates and boats in general exist to reach one land from another land separated by water so if there was only one continent there wasn t a need to travel by boat. Since joy boy is the first pirate I think he had the need to travel after the flood and it wouldn t make sense that he caused the flood knowing it would become a big inconvenience to travel even worse if his weakness was water. My point is if Iβm chapter 1115 in Japanese vegapunk does says the world is fragment of one old continent it wouldn t make sense for joyboy to have caused the flood so would you be kind enough to confirm if that s exactly what it says in Japanese.
