  3. He might have just missed the boat to being an absolute megastar by re-signing with AEW. Unless they actually start booking him right, he's lost most of his star power over the last two years. This return, he looked just utterly ordinary, just another pro-wrestler. Never thought I'd say that about MJF.

I hope he got a mega pay increase for re-signing him as he's still the best guy they have.

  4. I was happy to see MJF. I didn't care for the promo though. The tattoo is dumb. I actually wish he would leave AEW so this entire segment was a letdown for me.

  5. never in my life Watching a return makes me more sad than this one…..MJF have all the tools to be the next Stone Cold, Rock, Rick Flair, Cena, Cody or Punk…..but instead he staying the minor leagues for how knows how long…..3 more years I guess if we are LUCKY, knowing the state of AEW……this is as close to career suicide as it can get, so sad.

  6. MJF: “I don’t need a New Japan or Vince McMahon to make MJF, I made MJF.”

Also MJF: got over by stealing or ripping off Jim cornette, CM Punk, and Triple H catch phrases and gimmicks and clothing choices, and taking shots at WWE on a damn near weekly basis.

Que the John cena “are you sure about that?” Meme

  7. We could’ve had MJF showing up on RAW and beating up Cody Rhodes. Imagine him being a complete and total scumbag for weeks and weeks torturing Cody in various ways?

  8. The saddest thing about the return is he got himself in great shape and then decided to cosplay a guy who has 60lbs of muscle on him making him look like a child. He was HHH’s Little Petey Pump

  9. Yeah, AEW and MJF talked 1-2 years about the summer aka the biding war of 24, on TV, when MJFs contract was up, but grandfather Jim and his re*** nephew can't pay attention to anything, or have they both dementia at this point? Stick with WWE, it's easier to follow for old folks like you. 😂

  10. Triple M (or Maxwell Mearst Melmsley to his friend) looked… <sigh> is it just me, or would a persona like Nick Bockwinkel suit Max better than a screaming, angry Ric Flair/Roddy Piper/2002 HHH mash-up? That smarmy smile he has, it's so…smarmy. Makes him look like a guy who likes the smell of his own farts. And the spray tan….woof. He had six months off and couldn't be bothered with getting a tan the natural way? He had to spray it on so it starts running and smudging while he's sweating and ranting? Good job.

Also, actually saying Vince McMahon's name got a pop from the crowd here, and yet still… still! …Punk managed it better (and got a better pop to boot) by not saying VKM's name in a pre-Mania promo against Drew McIntyre. Vince hasn't been associated with WWE for…what? six months? He's not making anybody anymore, Max. You're cutting promos based on old memos, pal.

Oh, and while I know that the average IQ of a Ye Olde Die-hard AEW fan is not exceptionally high, and the majority of them don't know the meaning of a word like "hypocrite"…showing off your brandy-new AEW leg tattoo in the same promo where you call the crowd "stupid marks" is… well…🤷‍♂
