It's pronounced – ee lie!
This was filmed in Spain. The cemetery was starting to crumble and they decided to redo it as it was in the movie. One of the greatest Spaghetti Westerns ever made.
LISTEN SUSANNA RIGACCI WITH MORRICONE IS BETTER, THIS IS A COVER.
If you decide to watch the movie, remember it is part of a trilogy, called The Dollars Trilogy. I'm not sure if it was an intentional trilogy but it's certainly been thought of that way. Fistful of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More, and The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly, in that order.
Hey soprano, can you whistle like that?
show us some skills, sing for us,opera singer,i bet you do not👍
In a synphony orchestra a “drummer” is called a PERCUSSIONIST, he has completed extensive musical studies, he is not a “drummer” from an obscure rock group.
The second part, L'estasi del oro, is a perfect cannon and the best way to wake up in the morning. The oboe is like nature coming to life, then the constant grow of harmonics is like a constant injection of energy. This truly is a peerless creation.
I have watched tons of reactions to this video because I am Danish and it is the Danish National Symphony Orchestra performing live. I have watched countless of other reactions to other music. But you reaction sky rokects to heaven. It is so good that you deserve millions to watch it. You analyze the instruments, the singers, the conductor and you compare it to the movie. This is the best reaction vidieo I have EVER seen
Definitely one of the most iconic theme songs in movie history, and the orchestra's performance is amazing.
This is why Morricone is the Master
That's the 1st time I saw the trailer for The Good, the Bad, & the Ugly, though I have seen the movie numerous times. Something the narrater got wrong was The Ugly was Eli Walach (Tuco) and The Bad was Lee Van Cleef (Angel Eyes) the trailer mixed them up.
Stop talking and go watch the film.
You definitely need to watch the movie
You probably don't want to review, but would probably personally like the slightly comedic piece that you can find by searching "The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain – The Good, The Bad and The Ugly"
Thank you for your breakdown and analysis of this piece, I've seen it multiple times before, and you opened my eyes and ears to aspects that I hadn't noticed before.
Listen to this flutist explain the vibrato "flutter tunging"
Listen to this flutetisht explain the vibrato
The two by four man is massively talented…. How years of schooling did it take?🤔
Vibrato on a recorder can also be done (you can see it in the video) by opening and closing a hole (AT LEAST two holes down from the note you are actually playing) rapidly. You can see the recorder player do this with a finger at the bottom of it (safe distance from the note he is playing).
😮😮😮😮
Non hai mai sentito parlare di MORRICONI!!
Adesso devi recuperare 😅😂❤
and to think this was created for a low budget film almost 60 years ago. The three low budget westerns have endured and still considered great in the western genre.
I would like you to react to ravells bolero. And o fortuna by Carl orff .
the movie is BETTER THAN THIS!!!
Ennio Morricone, one of the greatest genius in music from XX century… And you have to see the movie… it's a must because Sergio Leone is also a genius
Maybe you don't know that Ennio Morricone and Sergio Leone, by chance, were schoolmates in elementary school in Rome. Fate had already decided for them.together they created films that made the history of cinema. like the good the bad the ugly, once upon a time in the west, once upon a time in America.
Actually that was two songs. "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly" and "The Ecstacy of Gold".
Drums you say….have you heard Boléro, by Maurice Ravel?
An orchestra at that level doesn't even need a conductor, she is there so that everyone follows the rhythm, nothing else
Questa versione è una parodia: se si vuol ascoltare la musica di Morricone va ascoltata la sua orchestra
What's interesting to me as an Italian is that the trailer kept showing the three main characters to the rhythm of "The good." (Eastwood) "The bad." (Van Cleef), "The ugly." (Wallach)… but Eli Wallack is supposed to be the Ugly, and Lee Van Cleef is supposed to be the Bad.
All this because the order in which the sentence is idiomatic in English and in Italian is different. "Il buono, il brutto e il cattivo" should really be "The good, the ugly and the bad".
Nice touch, showing the trailer. Thanks.😊
What a bad trailer… bad and ugly are switched
