First rule of encountering Humans….
Agree to the Geneva Convention or the Humans will turn it into the Geneva Checklist.
Second Rule of encountering Humans…
DO NOT go to war against humans, we have been fighting since the start of our existence. Give us a reason to unite and we will fight until the end of your existence!
Nice story, I enjoyed it.
A prime example of the Frack Around and Find Out principle.
This is fantastic
0:44 – Reading alongside the original text "sensor 6" was written as sensor VI – VI in this case being "Virtual Intelligence" That makes more sense when it comes to the rest of the sentence when it estimates that there are hundreds of thousands more satellites not detected.
Just a minor thing, but something that AI reading doesn't always follow.
The road not taken, Harry turtledove…almost the same storry
Love it, great job to the author and channel for scoping the story out from Reddit 👍
As soon as they hit the first wave of attaching ships (200 000), the humans would have ripped the wreckage apart for weapon samples and gravity generators and hyperdrives. They would have made the first fight an absolute shit storm and in the confusion of the humans proving to be good at war, the humans would have boarded enemy ships of every class and captured them. Tech give away.
