Aircraft is a non-plural noun in English – this mean that the plural of “aircraft” is still “aircraft” and not “aircrafts” as “aircrafts” is not a word in English. To denote if a non-plural noun is being used in the singular or plural form one simply looks at the context of the sentence or pronoun used before it. Thus “United has 1441 aircraft” is correct but “Southwest has 800 aircrafts” is not
