Saudi Arabia. Severe restrictions and public punishment, splendid Arabic princes and hookah fumes. But what about the modern East? Today, we’ll learn to have fun in a land of sobriety, try to get used to luxury, visit an expat compound, see Formula 1 race track and Al Nassr capital, and find out why Saudis come to the seaside and remain in their cars. And I’ve got a surprise for you: I found a tree that looks exactly like me!
Watch this video to see how traditions and freedom struggle in the modern Middle East. And please, don’t ever rent a car in Saudi Arabia!

  1. There is an Indonesian man who works as a driver in Mecca, who also has a youtube channel with almost 3 million subs. He produces a few videos weekly just around the city and surrounding areas no problem

  4. I have followed Randy Horton who has lived in Saudi Arabia for years. He is from the US and lives in one of those compounds. I have learned so much about this country from his adventures. Now that I understand it, I think I like it.

  5. In Qatar my ex husband worked there in order for him to be able to buy alcohol he needed a letter from his boss that he was a good employee, how much he made, he had a place to live and that he had no issues. Which is fair to ask in a Muslim country you wouldn’t want homeless drunks on the street.

  6. Agenda 2030 is all about smart cities and the pretence we will have more choices less expense Saudi Arabia would certainly think it’s a good idea because of their environment however it’s just another form of control and we do not need a one world government.
