Elon Muskβs claim of having a million people on Mars by 2050 is just one of his many bold, yet dubious, statements about Mars. This video will review his assertions over the years, including ideas like Martians not needing to worry about radiation and the benefits of dropping nukes on Mars. Weβll evaluate the truth behind these claims and explore the possibility of such a future.

00:00π Bold claims made about Mars by Elon Musk, including a mission with a million people by 2050, are scrutinized as potential lies.
00:57π° Elon Musk's plan to send a million people to Mars involves building a fleet of 1,000 Starships, facing challenges with timing launch windows and fuel efficiency.
01:52π Reaching the goal of a million Martians by 2050 requires overcoming obstacles like reusable Starships, gravity issues, and Musk's past timeline predictions.
03:19π Sponsor message about Gentlebands, followed by discussion on SpaceX's progress with Starship launches and Musk's timeline revisions for landing humans on Mars.
04:43π Challenges ahead include making Starships reusable, establishing a Martian base for 100,000 people, and dealing with gravity issues during space travel.
05:54π Gravity concerns during space travel are highlighted, with potential solutions involving accelerating or spinning the spacecraft to create artificial gravity.
06:49πͺ Zero gravity effects on the human body during space travel are discussed, emphasizing the need for solutions to address health risks for long-term space journeys.
07:42π° Gravity issues continue to pose challenges for long space journeys, with Musk proposing solutions like spinning spacecraft or creating artificial gravity through acceleration.
08:39π Various solutions to address gravity challenges during space travel are explored, including accelerating spacecrafts or spinning them to create artificial gravity.
09:45β’ Radiation risks during space travel and on Mars are discussed, with Musk downplaying the dangers and potential solutions involving shields and artificial magnetic fields.
10:41β Solar energy challenges on Mars are highlighted, with Musk's suggestions about using solar panels for power generation being deemed unrealistic due to sunlight limitations.
11:46π Living arrangements on Mars, including glass domes and underground habitats, are evaluated for their feasibility in providing protection from environmental hazards.
12:47π± Feasibility of growing food on Mars through hydroponics is discussed, highlighting challenges like plant variety limitations and system maintenance issues.
13:45π₯© Food production challenges on Mars, including growing animals and insects for consumption, are explored in relation to sustaining a large population.
14:51β Musk's idea of nuking Mars' poles to create an atmosphere is deemed unrealistic due to practical challenges like radiation risks and atmospheric retention issues.
16:30πΏ Growing food on Mars through hydroponics poses challenges like limited plant variety, system maintenance requirements, and disease risks affecting food supply.
17:33π₯ Creating a habitable atmosphere on Mars through various methods like nuking the poles is analyzed for feasibility, highlighting technical and environmental obstacles.
18:31πͺ Challenges in creating a habitable atmosphere on Mars through methods like drilling into the ground or releasing carbon dioxide are discussed in light of practical limitations.
19:21π Long-term solutions for creating a habitable atmosphere on Mars involve establishing a magnetic field and increasing gravity, with nuking the planet seen as an unrealistic last resort.
Hmm who's smarter what if or Elon Musk he probably has a plan that you would never have thought of
Instead of colonising mars with these silly ideas why not spend that money on EARTH!
This is not Star Trek. Heβs not a scientist, just a man with an awful lot of money.
I might not agree with everything Elon says but I know he's like a big kid about space traveling and he wants to push it as far as he can nothing wrong with tryna do something nobody has even tried
Plz make a video with the title –
What if we humans had 2 hearts π
What would happen?
What about giving birth on mars ?
We believe What if! More than a Musk thing πβ€
Elon Musk has no any idea what he is talking about. Not going to be happen soon. Only stupid claims with no any sense.
Can happen it aint out of realms of possibility
If we were to make it there, before you know it, aliens from other planets would come and we would be giving them government checks, free food, free housing, free radiation masks, and free gravity.
Love your videos. Please do a video about planets sharing the same orbit. The whole 42 earths theory. Please π and thank u.
It's f**king hilarious how morons like Musk think having a sh*t tonne of money means they must be intelligent. I'm starting to wonder if he's a Dunning-kruger candidate.
He will also send a couple Jamaicans over
My boy went johnny dang
Elon forgot to tell us , the travel thing , thats already solved , we just get Scotty to beam us to mars , no problems ππππππππ.
Yeah, Mars of course. Elon Musk might be right, Mars isn't habitable, but in the far future it might be
I like to see Elon wearing orange suit.
you know they also said that one day were going to live on another planet that looks exactly like earth its name is Kilber 13 or 12 and what Ellon musk as said that we could live on that planet to if most of us survive that long and more importantly if we were going to live on mars, we would need a lot of water and grass in order to live there and we also need oxygen and we need heat as well for our plants to grow and our children and were would buildings like schools and houses go like earth where would we live how would we live is what I'm asking it is 2024 almost 2025 I hope we do get to see 2050 cause I'll be in my 40's by then and glass tombs people don't even know what they look like to how is he going to build glass tombs for us to live and plus would we be able to breath in the glass tombs or would we be able to walk on them to and we would also need wife to if where also going to live on mars cause we use phones tablets and computers like for tablets you would also need Wi-Fi but what if we didn't have to use Wi-Fi for tablets what if we use Bluetooth for the tablets so we won't have to use any network cause now a days it's hard for kids to use tablets in most countries but I hope in 2050 I can't wait for that year to come I hope everything will be so much better thank you for this video.
I'd like the dislikes on this bs video
2024-2029
theres other ways to live on mars but a civilized way
If we can make mars habitable then why not just improve our planet ββββ
Elon Musk's Plan Nuke Mars Really Reminds Me Of Genes from Star Trek 2 Wrath Of Khan. I Just Hope Works Out Better than it did in the Movie. As I am Indifferent on Colonizing Mars.
a lot can happen in just a decade. we will never know what surprises us on the next 10 years
See, this is the difference between Musk and poor people. Poor people always resort to doubts and excuses. π And without actually being part in any of this to become a reality.
Nothing can replace our Mother Earth, β€β€β€
βA magnetic shield is critical to preserving Earth's atmosphere and habitability. Without it, Earth would resemble Mars.β All the problems pointed out could be solved but it would be a colossal waste of time and effort since Mars lacks an Earth like magnetic shield.
blud looks like elon muskπ
Elon is an assclown that knows how to hire smart people. He did NOT have anything to do with Tesla except that he bought it! He is in love with himself and simply yearns to be worshipped by the masses. Pitiful! Also, he looks like an extra from the movie Deliverance.
He has not said itβs habitable
But can Mabye be terraformed
But peep always flaunt masking Musk
Elon musk is half Chinese
Thanks β€β€β€β€
We donβt know really how many people would be willing to go to mars until itβs actually offered to them. Everyone sent there would need to have a trade because becoming self sustainable is very important, manufacturing and construction would be key
This is all so foolish and feebleminded. We don't allow advancements in travel, beyond a rocket, and we are going to travel to Mars? We can't explore the moon and we are going to travel to Mars? We aren't even allowed to explore the Antarctica and we are going to travel to Mars? Not to mention… each nation is trying to blow each other up here… how would that work if there were warring planets? Maybe we should focus on why we are at war with each other first, before having delusions of grandeu?
