If you want to play as an assassin or samurai in Japan just play Ghost of Tsushima. An amazing game with a beautiful open world, stealth combat as well as open combat and a fantastic story. All without having to pay $130+ dollars for "bonus quests"

Great video overall! I agree the scummy corporate practices by Ubisoft should be the main point of conversation.
However, I don't think we should downplay the action of overwriting the histories and cultures of others to better represent our own. It's no better than the whitewashing we saw in the 1960s. It was wrong then and it's wrong now. I think it's entirely hypocritical to condemn that while continuing to misrepresent other cultures and their histories.
Was Yasuke an interesting figure and does his story deserve to be touched upon? Absolutely. Do I think they should've deviated from having two Japanese protagonists (one male, one female) so that they could include him as a playable character? No. That just seems unfair. Are they next going to make a game about Mali culture/history and then try to find someone who wasn't African to be the protagonist of the story?
And yet they will trow all the contend at you with the Subscription option, they banking on ppl forgetting to cancel.

Okay, I did some extensive internet research and many hours later I've found some information that there is a $70 option for the standard edition base game.
