after receiving a mysterious email last week, i’ve dug into an even more mysterious upcoming game called beta decay. it’s got everything you could want: cyberpunk, voxels, and space exploration.

Ok this game sounds way too ambitious to be true. I doubt the devs are rich or big enough to fulfill all those promises. Either it gets scaled down significantly or it never comes out. I am cautious about this

I've only had the confidence in those running it to back one single Kickstarter. Heard too many bad stories of others and this does sound too ambitious for an unknown indie studio to be true, but I'll follow the Youtube channel for updates and remain cautiously optimistic for now. Still… With games like The Last Night, Nivalis, Replaced, Voxel modded OG Doom and now this, it might be a good time for us fans of this very niche twist on retro pixel-art games. Hope they deliver.

since it has ps1 graphics, they could add a lot of npcs and people and cars and stuff. and maybe interior for every building… and random things happening. crowded areas and shops…etc
