  1. I was living downtown in Kalamazoo in 1978 when the tornado went through there. I walked around during the aftermath, and saw bronson park lose so many trees. A guy was being watched over who was pined under his motor cycle..IBM building lost windows… it ripped my heart owt seeing ppl suffer loss. My heart goes out to everyone affected by these tornadoes.

  2. I swear I seen vertical double-helix clouds in Massachusetts yesterday.

Edit: I just looked it up, and helix clouds are very rare. I seen 3 vertical double helix clouds all side by side. I knew what I was looking at was highly unusual.. although I guess it has nothing to do with tornadoes, it looked cool.

  5. My thoughts are with all of you who lost your homes. In may of 98 a bad storm went through Grand Rapids, and a tree was uprooted and landed on our small home and totaled it. We lost everything, accept my moms wedding rings, and she managed to grab off of her headboard. We all got out alive. They said 100mph "strait line winds" is what did it. No one elses home was messed up at all, and we had to relocate. It's a pretty sad story . Man I feel for you guys.
