Ernst and Young Liquidator Morgan Kelly says his company is currently conducting an “urgent assessment” of Air Vanuatu’s financial position.
Mr Kelly joined Sky News Australia to discuss the liquidation of Vanuatu’s national carrier.
“We’ve grounded the fleet while we conduct safety inspections,” he said.
“We’re working with our partner airlines to try normalise operations as quickly as possible.
“But the first thing we really need to do is understand the situation we’ve got and see what we can do to restart the operations as quickly as we can.”
