There was a huge New World dev update last night that talked about everything New World. There are some massive changes coming to the New World trading post system. Also the devs think that New World deflation is not a problem and showed graphs to back up their position.
These weren’t the only changes, they talked about moderation in New World, mass reporting, gold dupe exploits, and much more. There was a lot to digest in this New World news update, so I went through and brought you the highlights from the post.

They need to ditch the material conversion tax, it is so massive it appears to be a bug
With the invasions, I 100% agree the company should choose 100% or have more control in it. all it takes is one rat or inexperienced person to take siege parts and you lose rounds earlier
Linking trading posts removes a layer of complexity in a game that's already exposed for being skin deep

As a solo player I'm really glad they're working on ways to keep us involved in things like invasions while still keeping everyone else happy. I get a lot of flack in certain group events simply because I'm just a solo player doing my thing and not known or welcomed, and no one really wants to get in the way. We do want to participate, and be useful, however. If there were better ways to direct players that might help. Maybe some built in game features for sending commands to all players would help company leaders tell others where to focus. I think making people sign up with a certain build spec might help sort out healer/dps/tank etc…
I think the real take away here is that Amazon is actually listening to us… All the time….
A mini map would be a nice addition.
First month i never got into invasion cause company vote kick now those companies left server now nobody ques invasion and towns always downgrade
Linking all trading posts is gonna drop all prices on everything. why even bother farming for resources to sell now.
that economy post was just a copy paste from an old post when people were complaining about it highly doubt we had anything but inflation while duping was going on. Glad to see they are working on more balances throughout the game and i always thought the TP being localized was bad overall because it basically made certain areas ghost towns unless running a quest or portals/expeditions.
Unless they have unique codes for each item & 0.001 gold, I'm not sure if they can track what items are duped.
But if they do… hehehe

Windwards is the cheapest place on my server and by far, I tend to sell elsewhere a bit higher to make coins but by linking it there is no point because ill have the sell lower to be able to sell and contest those bot farmers or trade people. Rawhide, Green wood, fibers, Iron ore farming days are over the market will be saturated with it and the price will just plummet. People didnt want to pay azoth to buy items so they just paid the 0.05 or 0. Something more just to get it without spending but now its not the case anymore.
I hope they will make a Store link too… i hate it to waste my time with walking fromm cutless too brightwood… and back
Do they ever say anything about the twitch streamer highlight thing, I don’t know if you need to activate it somehow but it never works when I try to turn it on when I stream

Linking trading post just killed selling for a profit in outlying posts.
I think solo players should definitely get a chance to participate in invasions but those invasions NEED to possible to win with those casual and random players, i think a good way to solve this could be to have different levels or types of invasions, with the lower/easier invasions taking more random players and the higher levels letting the company pick the vast majority of the players . This would create more variety and interest in the invasions too.
