Our new home, and who's our, you, Okay bye bye …
If we are smart enough to colonize another world, shouldn't we try to use that intelligence to fix this ine first? 🤔
Mars is too harsh for human habitation unless it is teraformed and that can take thousands of years. It may have been habitable millions of years ago with oceans and a breathable atmosphere.
"Our new home" my home is and will be earth. Send those dictators to mars but im not interested..
NOT NASA, but SpaceX will be the first to build a colony on a other planet, i hate when some one take credit of the hard work of another.
Wouldn't it cheaper in our Grand Canyon?
Defund NASA
Typo – in your other video you said Mariner 9 reached Mars in 1971 and here you say 1972. Wiki says it entered Mars orbit in November 1971. Small error but you already had the right dates in your last video presentation. Write them on your hand before going to bed.
I know currently a trip to space is only affordable to a handful of people. But I am 100 percent sure once other life forms are found Uber will exploit the hell out of them to take trips between planets for pennies on 100k miles
Don't forget to take with you all the morons that believe in your shit
You cannot hide from the sun's radiation in a canyon. With little atmosphere on Mars, humans will never survive.
3:15 messes….. ?? Yup thats sooo racist….. Mesah BUB.
If any colonies are to be built on other planetary bodies, they should be done under the flag of the United Nations. These should be HUMAN colonies. Not American, Chinese, Russian or Indian colonies, they should be human colonies.
I swear the US just takes over everything and “claims” it’s theirs. Really reminds me of a few things that happened here. Good luck kope it’s vacant!
Will NEVER happen , why would we travel all that way to live underground in order to survive the gamma radiation mars is constantly bathed in , not to mention the temperature swings & planet wide dust storms. Plus the logistic nightmare of getting enough resources & infrastructure to survive makes it nonsensical, we could achieve the same on the moon with far less cost & risk of failure. The idea of living on mars is just pure hype to drive up interest & investment for other projects. In reality there is nowhere in our solar system suitable for another earth 2.0, the only realistic option would be a space ark /star ship of space traveling nomads IF we have invented artificial gravity so we can reproduce (embryos developing in zero gravity are the stuff of nightmares – from research on the ISS with mice)
We already have a habitable planet & its highly unlikely we will find another, so it would be wise & prudent to insure we don't destroy this 1 just in case🤞
So when they get past the international space station they figure out how to get past the Van Allen radiation belt without killing everyone
The idea that the federal government wants to place people on Mars is just stupid. This proves that americans are taxed way too much. Here. Is better solution: Let's send every lawyer and politician to Mars . This would benefit the world and the usa immensely
"We" and especially "you" are not going to Mars. "You" are going to pay for everything.
Anything mined and brought back won't belong to you. Any bases built will be after you expire, not "our" new home😂😅
Providing we make mars alive once again, that would not be the best choice for a colony
How deep below the surface is this water ice? Would we need heavy equipment to get to it?
you should get some h20 there oxygen is next
Getting excited to explore Mars!
I don't know if they know this but they can fire bundles of construction materials into space from earth without rocket fuel and should be shooting tons of it towards a collection point on the moon.
Using the mile long gun barrel in Arizona they need to shoot all day every day two hundred lbs of metal straps that will be guided by drone after orbit is surpassed the payloads can crash land on deeper craters of the moon with this they reduce payload for flown missions and develop a virtual lumber yard on the moon.
Of course that must be built out as well and that construction would be the phase one of the test to prove the launch by rifle concept.
Or you use that material to construct the outer portion of a moon mine where you can certainly recover metals and water the lower you go.
Mining on the moon if youve built your cover plate is easier and safer than on earth because of gravity that soil and crust is going to require less power to dig
Anyone that is developed, born and then grows up on Mars, will face severe difficulties to ever set foot on Earth, due to the changes in body structure from the lower gravity. Let's not even talk about a few generations down the line.
It's my opinion, that settlements on Mars should be permanent, but the people be kept in rotation.
Just an fyi.
It’s not messas. It’s maysas. Phonetically.
100% SF Still waiting on a camera on the Moon and those hotels promised 50 fkn years ago.
It is no mystery that the planet is growing. Just like all planets grow. The planet Mars shows perfect growth signs in that they are not worn away by water erosion. Take that into account and the mystery is solved. If there will ever become any civilization there it will need to be far below the surface where there may actually be water and where oxygen can possibly exist.
NASA won't be building anything on Mars or any other planet. America is in self destruct mode.
Ethnic devision, race hate as a political weapon, invasion of not compatible foreigners that will never assimilate, economic collapse and a host of other 'non fixers' accelerate the death of America!
Weh.. there are no trees..
For those people earth is sh.. and mars is paradise, sick people
You mean Space X.
Nasa doesnt have any money or efficiency cuz they are run by the govt
I like the planet i live on thanks
No chance. Did you know: GOD OF THE CHRISTIAN BIBLE CREATED EVERYTHING ABOUT SIX THOUSAND YEARS AGO. NO SUCH THING AS EVOLUTION AND BILLIONS OF YEARS OF AGO. DINOSAURS LIVED WITH MAN. FOLLOW ASTROPHYSICIST DR JASON LISLE✝️
Of course they will and hopefully populate it with Muppets like you. 😂😂😂
Bet noah event did that scar… by moon… why moon lock so that wont happen again
Humans can't handle living on a planet that already provides them with everything they need to survive. You're delusional if you think a colony on Mars is a legitimate possibility.
I really doubt it will be nasa
Hopefully its whites only
nah i can look at that canyon and see without a doubt it grazed by a meteor of come sort… thats a similar wound to getting grazed by a bullet in flesh… its probly the safest place to be on mars tho no doubt
I just feel like ceres would be a better choice. Mars is already true dry, its atmosphere is practically all but not there, and its soil is toxic.
Ceres has less of a gravity well. It is a planetary core so has valuable materials near the surface. Can easily go and drag and drop nearby asteroids on it for processing. A colony needs to be subterranean either one. Can import ice from closer gas planet rings.
Will never happen 🤪
Not until elon is out of the picture
How do people know it took billions of years for the volcano to cause erosion or soil shift? That sounds like a wild guess. We have no comprehension of millions let alone billions of years. Just saying.
Well it looks like a great place. Can’t wait to go.
The best series of books on the colonization of Mars is by Kim Stanley Robinson: 'Red Mars, Green Mars, Blue Mars.' Although it's science fiction it uses real science, and still holds up incredibly well thirty years after the first book….(1993)
Ive always said a canyon with a sheet of some sort of glass material would be better and cheaper then a domed city since I first got into outer space stuff. Be more easy mine right there then having to dig down a lot too.
NASA won't build anything… SpaceX will
