After having done breakdowns for Rise of the Planet of the Apes and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, y’all KNOW we had to do it to em and hit y’all with a War For The Planet of the Apes breakdown so I’m just gonna shut the hell up and talk about that one time Woody Harrelson fought Furious George. Let’s go!

Matt Reeves’ second Planet of the Apes film War For the Planet of the Apes released on July 14th 2017 and raked in a crazy $490.7 million on a budget of around $152 million dollars. Returning from Dawn of the Planet of the Apes along with Matt Reeves are Andy Serkis as Caesar, Terry Notary as Caesar’s best friend Rocket, Judy Greer as Caesar’s wife Cornelia, Karin Konoval as the Bornean Organgutan Maurice, Caesar’s wise and kind advisor and Toby Kebell as the Ghost of Koba’s Past.

But anyways, the movie opens with a recap of the world events from this Planet of the Apes trilogy by highlighting the words Rise, Dawn and War…to, of course, point to the past rise of the Planet of the Apes and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes movies and this current War for the Planet of the Apes film.

    I’d say Caesar was 100% going to kill the Colonel. But he came in to see that the Colonel became what he feared the most and Caesar wasn’t going to give him the satisfaction. Caesar would be doing exactly what the Colonel wanted.

  12. After what MT said about JK Rowling, having a misogynistic view of society, I can't stand him! However, I like this movie… and 34 seconds in, MT drop the ball, once again: if a movie has a budget of 150k, and only has a 100k budget for marketing, it costs 250k. So, because it only gets half of the box office, it needed 500k to break even!
    The franchise is great though, unlike MT, who was fired from New Rockstars (SHILLeverse) but has Paul taking care of him…

At runtime 1hr 46mins when rockets asked Cesear how are they going to get the kids out, the camera gets closer to cesear face and eyes like the same way during the rise when Will’s dad was feeding cesear and he said “ He’s a smart one” idk I felt like that was dope shot for Matt to remember from the first movie 🔥🔥🔥
