Cavalry units (especially with boots of tyranny) make this battle really easy.
1) The biggest threat is the group of 4 Dragons and wizard squads in the center. They also have a gunpowder unit nearby. However, cavalry can attack and retreat and let you smash them.
2) The lava “hazard” tiles only kick in if you end turn on them. So you can attack and retreat with cavalry on those tiles, and neve take hazard damage.
