  1. I dunno why this game has so much hype, but I'm glad there are new mmos and a bunch of streamers quitting that will hopefully light a bright fire under PA's ass to appeal to the players way more than they do now. I wish there was a western company that would just rip off BDO's combat and not be greedy like EA and the like.

  2. So doing town missions doesn’t just inherently upgrade a town, it’s up to the guild that owns the town to choose what gets upgraded and maintain it, crafting shops in a town can also degrade if not taken care of. It’s also funny that one of the biggest detriments to the bdo community is no auto pathing lol “you mean I have to virtually walk, all by myself?” XD also the game tries to get you to be flagged for pvp by offering more xp for everything you do while flagged, also once you get over level 50 I’d say, you will be swimming in azoth (currency for fast travel) so it becomes not an issues and you can do it whenever. When it comes to pvp the only weapon that definitely needs a nerf is great axe and the only weapon that definitely needs a buff is musket , I’ve done every form of pvp during the beta and those are the only 2 weapons that over perform and under perform in every category respectively. Unfortunately crafting needs a buff as it doesn’t even seem worth it to craft your own gear until way after max level as faction gear is better. Also I hope they balance xp, the town boards even after all the nerfs they did are far better than quest so you actually get more rewarded for Not exploring the world. I think the game has tons of potential, I put 200hrs into this beta and loved it.

  3. While the lack of character customization and slowish combat isn't ideal I think I'm going to pick this one up
I can probably learn to like the combat given some time with it. Or maybe not. Won't know till I try but it isn't an instant turn off for me. It is still action combat so yeah. World looks pretty nice, character building and freedom to swap out weapons (classes) is great.

Hope they add mounts at a later date. After some time walking around the world isn't going to be as exciting anymore.
