  1. These things are so stupid.

    If you want to know what it's going to be like go take a shift on an oil rig. Or cross the Sahara the traditional way with some Bedouins. Or anything else that is very outside your comfort zone.

    Even just living in a tiny home is a better way to prepare yourself.

  2. This obsession with no observation windows is driving me insane, especially considering it’s easy to protect from radiation through a transparent thick piece of plastic

    No pool
    No meditation room
    No coffee brew house
    No big kitchen
    No walk in freezer
    It’s tang and bars for that bunch
    Edit. Put the pool in the garden next to the tea room over looking the gaint window out into the Martian horizon and beyond ….
