The motto of #BillionaireNinjas is “Talk is Cheap, Ninjas Leap.”

This one is all about Fleet Defense. More specifically how do you protect your capital ship if you only have one ship to do it with. Obviously you should have more than one, but here’s a list of which ones you might one to add to the fleet first.

In this series we make a list! We check it twice! and we share it with you regardless of whether you’re naughty or nice. Make sure you give us your list in the comments!

BMM can’t wait
You know you will be able to buy most ships with ingame currency? There is no need to spend 3000$ for Javelin…
I wonder if they will add a bounty tier above ERT or reshape the bounties when cap ships are dropped
Polaris all the way. Corvette size is just perfect.
I'd rather be the Captain docking with a Kraken to go shopping, then be the one trying to manage that mess. But captaining any of these takes real organization. I already have a duty roster of positions and names of people willing to crew, marine guard posts when landed or docked, and im working on other standard operating procedures. It can use all 14 crew, and having that many people seamlessly working together with cohesion doesn't happen by accident. Imagine what a ship for 50 or 100 would be like…
Kraken looks really good, hopefully it comes soon. Also i hope there is another javelin walktrough during some event.
Damm the kraken looks badass
I love the liberator, i can see it being used for space control, as patrolling fighters can refuel when they need to. It'll be amazing in pyro.
I must not buy a Kraken, I must not buy a Kraken, I must not buy a Kraken, I must not buy a Kraken, I must not buy a Kraken, I must not buy a Kraken, I must not buy a Kraken, I must not buy a Kraken, I must not buy a Kraken…
Can’t wait for the Kraken, must be so fun with a crew
100% agree, Kraken for sure. I personally love Drake ships, so probably a little biased, but I’m digging the sound of everything the Kraken is offering up.
I can't imagine myself being anywhere near any of these ships in normal gameplay but at least they look cool
Nice review
Discord link is invalid. Can you update it?
It will be hard for Solo player. Thats understandable and sad.
The Kraken Privateer and BMM seem like interesting concepts for mercantile orgs.
Omitting the Endeavor does the viewers a disservice. It's the one chance latecomers have to get a bargain like the early Merchantman deals. It can support a hangar big enough for two Cutlasses, and has room for a couple more functional modules on top of that.
Interesting pitch for the Kraken. It's the most tmpting capital ship for me, BMM being my #2… but I'd always leaned towards the Pirvateer. But you make a really good case for why the base model is the better choice. Since i mostly fly solo, my flagship is my 600i, so I don't see this as being anything other than a thought experiment, but still… tempting.
I feel like the Liberator will be super accessible for smaller crews and a fun add to any fleet
I think what's best in a flagship is it's versatility. What's limiting me is my wallet so I only got a galaxy tho 😛
Hey, I have a question for Clown Imperium: where’s my BMM?
They can only hide behind excuses for so long 😈
Endeavor all the way
Awesome content!
I hope to be able to purchase an idris sooner than later. I doubt I will ever be able to afford one though.
Love the Kraken and cannot wait.
Merchant Man I got for $220
Think you also missed the Endeavor
I want my Orion!!! I want my BMM!!!
I like the perseus a lot because its low crew requirements and good fire power.
Become one with the Cult of the Endeavor
With the new engineering you going to need a full crew to make these monsters running. I think it will be a good control to keep bunch of people from soloing a cap ship.
o7 … I'm warming to the Idris
I agree with your Top5 list for the reasons you gave. My honorable mention however is the Endeavor. I believe the Javelin, Idris, and Kraken are 24/7 persistent requiring a large world wide Org using it as a base. Like the BMM, the Endeavor can be the small group, or even solo (with NPC support) flagship / mobile base. Add to that, the Endeavor is still at its concept price of $350 which is more accessible to more budgets.
Thanks for the content
Release the Kraken!
I own no capital ships but will have a lot of chances to crew them through my main org. The biggest ships I own are the Reclaimer salvager, Pioneer construction ship and Orion heavy miner. I'll be the guy called on when a capital ship needs heavy tender loving care.
capital ships are too far from what I can imagine xd
a large ship would be enough for me
