  1. Polaris all the way. Corvette size is just perfect.
I'd rather be the Captain docking with a Kraken to go shopping, then be the one trying to manage that mess. But captaining any of these takes real organization. I already have a duty roster of positions and names of people willing to crew, marine guard posts when landed or docked, and im working on other standard operating procedures. It can use all 14 crew, and having that many people seamlessly working together with cohesion doesn't happen by accident. Imagine what a ship for 50 or 100 would be like…

  2. I must not buy a Kraken, I must not buy a Kraken, I must not buy a Kraken, I must not buy a Kraken, I must not buy a Kraken, I must not buy a Kraken, I must not buy a Kraken, I must not buy a Kraken, I must not buy a Kraken…

  3. Omitting the Endeavor does the viewers a disservice. It's the one chance latecomers have to get a bargain like the early Merchantman deals. It can support a hangar big enough for two Cutlasses, and has room for a couple more functional modules on top of that.

  4. Interesting pitch for the Kraken. It's the most tmpting capital ship for me, BMM being my #2… but I'd always leaned towards the Pirvateer. But you make a really good case for why the base model is the better choice. Since i mostly fly solo, my flagship is my 600i, so I don't see this as being anything other than a thought experiment, but still… tempting.

  5. I agree with your Top5 list for the reasons you gave. My honorable mention however is the Endeavor. I believe the Javelin, Idris, and Kraken are 24/7 persistent requiring a large world wide Org using it as a base. Like the BMM, the Endeavor can be the small group, or even solo (with NPC support) flagship / mobile base. Add to that, the Endeavor is still at its concept price of $350 which is more accessible to more budgets.

    Thanks for the content

  6. I own no capital ships but will have a lot of chances to crew them through my main org. The biggest ships I own are the Reclaimer salvager, Pioneer construction ship and Orion heavy miner. I'll be the guy called on when a capital ship needs heavy tender loving care.
