Amazon’s MMORPG New World massive pvp changes to gameplay. Siege Battles in 50 vs 50 War mode, Territory Control and PvP in the Open World will be vastly different. Today a developer from the game took to the forums and talked about a few upcoming changes to pvp. He went over open world rewards and bonuses to luck and gear coming very soon! Less durability damage while dying in open world pvp and more! We will also see some adjustments to War balance and time to declare. Lastly we learn about some plans to make some of the less popular territories more valuable to control! All of these changes are a great direction for the game and I can’t wait to see how they are brought to life!

They need to have a server/territory population requirement so people dont just pvp at 2am when nobody is around. Also you should be pvp flagged for at least 15 minutes for the bonus so people dont play games with flagging near cities.
Just add a cooldown for killing the same person so it only helps every 30 minutes at most
The more time goes by the more and more Invins thumbnails look exactly like yours.
I hope they are ready to see player number drops. Being flagged to increase luck on PVE content is not going to make those people happy. If they want to increase luck it should just be on PVP kill drops.

Sethphir. Bro. I have enjoyed all your videos, watched most all of them with my subscription. And I appreciate and admire your dedication to saving the life of your channel. Unfortunately, you seem to be ignoring the elephant in the room. I hope that somewhere in your day, you're making time also to add your consequential voice to the cacophony of voices calling for some comment from the devs on how they intend to remedy the damage already done to the economy. We know they are working on the fixes. But what comes after? Life goes on as normal? Not satisfactory. Let the devs know that we need to know what the plan is, because until that happens, I'm leaving a game that I love, and looking for a new world to explore. And I won't be alone. That would suck for everyone involved.

lmao the rewards from flagging are good while lvling wtf… 10% xp buff doesnt make up for getting killed after you consider the time it takes to get back. needs to be like 25%.
Why does there need to be any bonus for pvp flagging that pve players don't get? If its cos most players are not flagging doesn't that tell them how most of their players want to play the game? Trying to encourage them to play how they don't want to doesn't seem healthy for the game.
Overall an awesome update from devs. I really feel like they know the right direction with seeking the right amount of feedback from players to improve the game. Wars weekly would be better I think, like conquerers blade. For open world PvP I firmly believe the fix is you should only really be fighting someone three times. Once when they ganked you, once when you get them back. And once when you are both aware of each other and decide to both engage again or leave. If you kill someone twice, that's enough, you won. Killing them again is usually griefing in my opinion. I propose 100% reward first time, 50% second time with no watermark chance and zero a third time. Not sure on a reset timer!
I just wish these large sweeping changes and bugs had been addressed when AGS had NW in a beta phase rather than after launch… this game is not in a release state and I'm getting tired of this state being the normal industry standard for release.
I am happy to see them put this information out. It provides a sense of direction. Doesn't make it feel like the everything is on fire at the studio.
I play on a low population server, and one issue we have is upgrading crafting stations. Between Invasions (seemingly unwinnable) and territories changing hands frequently (some wars have few people show to defend), it feels like owners don't bother upgrading. I'm not sure how it is on other servers, but it can be a challenge to find a T5 crafting station. It doesn't help that the map isn't showing the right info about station level either cough

The only towns they should be looking at stats on wars is windward Brightwood and everfall. My faction purposefully lost territories a few times bc it cost them money. So 80 percent win rate is actually higher.

If flagging for pvp gave you +10% luck, I'd be flagged all day long. Something tells me it's going to be much less than that.
Welp, I quit. I started late and I'm still lvl35 and I can tell you there is no world pvp to be had whilst leveling. The fact they said this was fine is a slap in my face. I was looking forward to and willing to suffer thru this lame leveling just to PvP at 60 assuming all the players are pvp'ing in the high lvl zones at this point and once I got to 50 or 60 id get my world pvp, but no. Amazon says this is what needs fixing not leveling PvP lol if it's worse than leveling at 60 then I'm done as of RN. What a bad game this actually is
I tried I really did, but this game has an insufferable PVE leveling grind that has nothing to do with what the game is. I'll pay $40 to play a game but I'm not spending 30 days leveling in a way that has nothing to do with the activities I wanna play at end game aka PvP. Can't war, can't outpost run and I can't find open world.pvp at PvP mission sites on high pop server. So in essence I can't PvP for 60 levels in a game that is almost all PvP in the sense it's a territory war game. How friggin dumb can the ppl that designed this garbage be.

This is HUGE so excited for these changes. Everyone pretty much stopped flagging at lvl 60 because there was no incentive.
The other changes they said they are looking into also sound very promising. Im excited about the open world pvp acitivity they mentioned hope it's a pvp only zone.
The faction balance for changing factions is dumb af they do it by territory controlled not number of players which is insane. On my server purple has over 60 %of the population so they can just Zerg literally everything on the map, luckily most of them are dogshit and can’t win a fair fight but it leaves our faction with 11% of the population with no one able to transfer in 🙃
I feel like stealing some of the elements from GW2 WvWvW could breath some life into the open world PvP. Each PvP map in GW2 had a cap on the players that could be in each map. Also objective control, which there were several different objective with different impacts, meant that forces either needed to be concentrated into a zerg, or spread out into a main army and several small detachments. Maybe adding a player cap that can flag per zone would at least balance the open world zergs so there are even fighting forces on each side. Also placing more meaningful objectives on the map that require more strategic decisions on where manpower should be directed would make the open world PvP more impactful (aside from wars that is). One idea that springs to mind are town board upgrades for forts spawning a PvP mission to caravan the resources to the fort. Gives an opportunity to the defenders to fight for the upgrade and the attackers to deny it. (just spewing stuff outta my brain)
Is there a “tips to being better at PVP” or a “how to PvP better against weapon x” video/series?
How about no taxes at all. Stupidest system in a game. Also, factions should be allowed to hold one territory without being able to lose it. I've seen maps that completely lack a faction and that's so unbalanced.

I think ther a bit late for this, they could disable pvp and map controll we had one guild joining woers and they explot and take over almost every thing and we shoting strait so we have no chans, the ycould temp in pvp disable ice guntles and fire staff, but msot omportent if you have high ms you should not get in thats not hard to do its like for us whne we undervoold gpu ore put a cap in fps its not really that hard but they did not ther soltultion was to close and then open it and now for the dup gold thing they disable trading post you cant even trade with people so for me so trying to max my last crafting they totallly ruin 2 days for me now am full every wher so all that good items i had to put them on and trow away things… and player base dropped 50% this is good shanges but they should had happend earler we all know this came out in a beta state and things like this did shange the econemy on meny servers and some loot are still not posible to get like aderstone and aderstone sliver me and my frend tested this by bordom yestrday 2 difrent sones 100k stone and not one singel one and on the markets its nothing up for long time i guess meny servers have simeler prob with aderstone sliver and other drops and yes we both are 3 house luck full ming luck gear/food so its feels like this game have a really long way a head questing is if people gona give another chans ore not. It looks really bad atm. And i really hope they dont tax people for like 2-3 weaks for ther houses like a compisation..
