Good take for the genre new fresh air compare to just make generic RPG Combat.

Honestly this reminds me a little bit of Moon: Remix RPG Adventure in the sense of it being a game where the main focus is to save the monsters from a threat rather than making them fight for you. Specifically in Moon its not a epidemic or anything its the 'hero" is actually misled on the nature of monsters so he's going around killing them. Your job is to "catch" their souls and return them to their bodies so they can be revived.
I'm bringing up all this detail because its one of those games that a lot of Undertale fans know about (since it was one of Toby Fox's sources of inspirations) but it rarely comes up in the topic of monster tamer adjacent games.
Any game where you can befriend and pet creatures is at least worth investing. Though if it's anything like whenever a Sonic game had a Chao garden, I'm probably gonna spend more time cooing and fussing over the critters then doing any of the story stuff😂
This looks really cool and I love the unique take on creature collecting! I'm a sucker for games that let you research the creatures too so this is definitely adding to my wishlist 🩵🍓
