yeeeeah😅😅see this is why the early access excuse gets on my nerves sometimes ngl. like you said bubbz just because a game is in early access does not mean you should put so little effort into it and then just say ''oh the game is terrible now but it will get better later.'' sorry but that's not going to fly with me. Even for 15 bucks that's 15 bucks that could be better spent elsewhere. thanks for the heads up , i won't be playing this until there are massive improvements.

Well,in general I'm not a fan for early access games i don't have enough patience to wait for the full version..but i was kinda of looking forward to it but it seems I'm gonna skip it cause i hate the boring cozy games it makes my passion disappear 😢

You know, watching generally positive people making themselves say something negative is infinitely more entertaining than watching negative people just being themselves.
The airplane trip and the Game reminds me of a bad Version of Animal crossing. So sad all of the Animal crossing-like Games are so bad. Like this or Hokko Life.
But cozy grove at least is a good one in this 'animal crossing-like'-Games. Thanks Theres an second title hopefully on the way.
I already had a feeling that this game wouldn't be what it wants to be when I saw the Kickstarter. Despite of that I'll still wait for the full release and might give it a chance if it has improved by then. A LOT. The state of the game rn is not it sadly.

Oh boy, I played Chill Town for a few hours overall. I really tried to enjoy this game! But the EA access was just way way way too early. Feels like an Alpha. I agree with you in every point. We have to give some credit to the devs though as they are rolling out patches almost every day. … But the state in which the game released was so bad those patches are hardly helping, sadly. They have cute decorations but getting them and placing them is still rough. I kind of like the vibe of the game, I'm just running around planting flowers and decorating my town while listening to the nice lofi music… and then I get stuck or crash LOL! I really hope that they fix the performance issues and the crashes/still screens faster. In a few months the game maybe might be playable and a tiny bit enjoyable. But right now it's not worth it, it doesn't hold up to any expectations. At all. I'm so disappointed 😢

Thank you for the honest review! After a few years of many disappointments with cozy games, it's really nice to be able to get a good sense of where I should invest my money and time.
The game seems empty and unfisished to me. As if I were playing an early alpha build. I can see it being fun but it need much, much more work.

chucky was one of my favorite horror movies as a kid. but first thing that popped in my head was rugrats when i heard chucky

Lol the "toddler-like NPC" comment reminds me of Magical Melody however I found the MM characters to still be charming. Not the biggest fan of the dead empty stare in this game

Agree on all points. It’s so bad. I got a refund on steam, even though I’d played it for over two hours, once I explained all the many ways it is so terrible, they gave me my refund no problem. This game is nowhere near ready

Awww this is SO disappointing. I love the idea and I also like being very forgiving for small projects early in development but if the team doesn't REALLY make an effort to revamp the whole project I just can't see this as something id ever buy.
Also nothing about this gives much of a lo-fi vibe except the music and that's really strange to me.
I think the villagers are cute and the artstyle of the game in general (the nature side of it) looks nice. But the town looks terrible and omg this game seems like such a disappointment. Thank you for saving me 20$
Thanks for saving me money. I'm going to keep an eye on it for when it's fully released, see if it got better. I'm learning that I'm not the kind of person who has the time or patience for alpha games.
