Air Defender 2023: The Sky’s the Limit in NATO’s Largest Air Drill | WELT Documentary
In their largest air exercise to date, “Air Defender 23,” armed forces from a total of 25 nations, including NATO member states and other countries within European airspace, practiced their responsiveness. With thousands of soldiers and hundreds of aircraft of all types, they send a clear message: We are ready. The maneuvers test the operational capability of the air forces. Every operation is planned down to the smallest detail and is executed as realistically as possible. A challenging task.

Hoping that Philippines could have this kind of euro fighter jets that protect the souvierienty tirretory and EEZ against China's aggressiveness…
1k hours is quite a bit when you factor in the plane only has about 45 mins of fuel without external tanks or refueling. Well the euro fighter probably has more because they have the delta wing for that purpose but it hurts the maneuvering. Everything today is missiles so maneuvering isn’t as important as before
Here's a good propaganda film
Thank you for your service from..🇷🇴 to all NATO friends 🙏
Weapon industri is a big deal ,,,,, it’s a fucked up world
America will lose it's next war it has too many females in it's military and in leadership positions 💯
NATO is a paper tiger, as Russia and China seem to be proving to the world.
"We are ready!" 🤣 🥱
it's because of a man named vildamir Putin that all you Nato counteris are in chaos, believe me..he's just sitting around laughing at you all..
Russian and China took over the world
The USA is getting put in a corner lol lol lol lol
Love the A400M
Ok, the reporter says the A400M can refuel the F-16. How does it do that, since the Airbus doesn’t have a Boom??
what was it 15% of the US F35s that was combat ready hehe
Anybody else nervous about Germany? Seeing as two times they choose the WORLD as their enemies?
Planes to Ukraine?
Flying Lobos SD South Dakota!

Lol Russia I would be more worried about China
Propaganda hype. May be technically superior on paper, but NATO countries have very disparate forces with little to no coordinated experience in real battlefield. Without the US, NATO has no backbone, man power and the will power to take on Russia and China combined. Putin is not an irrational fool and Russia has no intention of invading even Eastern Europe. In any event, WW 3 will end quickly with the nukes.
Funny how the NATO folks are re-discovering that any war in Europe will centre in and around Germany.
This didn't change on 25/12/91 when the Soviet Union "ended".
The world today is possibly more unsafe now than it was during the Cold War; the sadness is that NATO countries' armed forces have been gutted since then and aren't showing any sign of that changing.
Thanks for the vid though.
Thank you for your service
Do you care tho
Desperately trying to look tough.
A few incorrect claims in this documentary. The F-16 can't be refuelled by the A400M. F-16s have to use the refuelling boom system as used by the Boeing KC-135 and Airbus A330MRTT. The A330MRTT also has the hose and drogue system as well. One hose and drogue unit on each wing outboard of the engines and a centreline hose and drogue unit. The KC135 can also have a drogue hose attached to its boom.
The claim that turbofan aircraft cannot deploy hose and drogue refuelling units is rubbish. The A330MRTT does and that system is routinely used.
DW needs to sort out these false claims problems. It is obvious that the narration script wasn't written by people who have any idea about aviation. It's not just this video where it's quite noticeable but in many others that I have watched.
Pretty boy parade.
German will team up with Russia as always, just to deck France…
Fuck off nato
