  1. BISHOP BARON❤: “Lady’s and gentlemen, while I really appreciate the accolades and eulogium but applause at the sacrifice of the mass is ALWAYS ill-advised because NEVER would want to risk detracting from all the glory, honour, reverence, homage, veneration, extolment, laudation, adulation, praise, adoration, commendation, recognition, approval, salutation, ovation, tribute and praise due ONLY to our Lord Jesus Christ and Him alone and for His sacrifice on the Cross of Salvation to God the Father in union with the Holy Spirit. Thank you. May the good Lord richly bless you and yours. Amen 🙏🏾💐❤️⭐️

  2. Being easily deceived is fundamental human nature! And this human penchant for deception wrecks the arguments for Christianity and "free will". The problem with humans being easily deceived is that if humans were designed this was a design flaw. One just has to look at how many lies christian's embrace! One just has to look at how many lies humanity embraces! The overwhelming examples of christians and humanity in general embracing lies and liars makes so called "truth" irrelevant and moot. Christian truth is a oxymoron. If human beings were designed with this overwhelming flaw then truth doesn't matter…lies don't matter….christ doesn't matter…"free will" doesn't matter…nothing matters because truth and lies are indistinguishable to most people…which Trump, Hitler, Kim Jong-Un, Jim Jones, etc. have proven beyond any doubt. If we as a species are ever to discover any truth…that truth must come from outside a fabricated god and fabricated "free will". Or we must discover a god better than the christian one that supposedly designed us. Which truth or god shall that be…will we keep choosing those like Trump or will we choose a better reality?

  3. How am I, a married man with a wife and a child on the way, supposed to live this way? I don't make all that much money and what I get, I need to try and make a household and provide for my loved ones. I can't just give that stuff away, it would be unconscionable.

  4. Creative Intelligence: another Beautiful Name that describes God. There's a line in one of my favorite choir songs: "Long before the Mountains came to be, and the stars were in the sky, You have Always Been…" I am so grateful for the homilies and speeches that you offer to the public, because you keep my soul focused on My Savior. Thank you, Bishop Barron.

  5. The Catholic Church can't come in and complain when they teach the sciences in their schools without relating them to spirituality while doing so. When you teach arithmetic, teach number theory. When you teach geometry, teach ancient commentary on the Soul. When you teach music, teach it also in relation to the spheres.

Enough with theological mashups. There's been 100 years to affect change in Catholic education. Senior leaders need to stop pointing to the 'ignorant masses' and start pointing to ourselves.

  8. I’ve been struggling the past couple of weeks deciding what I want to study at uni and I’ve been feeling quite drawn to teaching specifically religious education. After watching this I’m going to pursue it. The ability to give kids the catechesis that I never got despite going to a Catholic school would be beyond rewarding.

  9. Very important sermon BUT: what would you say about the billionaires and oligarchs of the world who hoard their wealth while a majority of a country is struggling. The millionaires and billionaires are NOT struggling at all and they always seem to get their 'more# without giving anything away!!!! What you have said sounds nice, but the educated demand answers to questions like these. Feel good emotional talks need to be held up to higher scrutiny.

  12. Bishop. The connection was the call to young people to begin to take true religion seirously. Then the part on grace was a taste of what true religion really looks like.

See on all levels, in the heavens and all physical relaity, on morality and then on the spiritual life lived out, that God is good and all things sing to the Glory of Gods Loving Goodness.

  14. Viewers interested in the science/religion question may find lectures by Lawerence Principi very interesting. Some will be found on YT, or a collection of 12 recorded lectures offered by The Teaching company.

  15. "The heavens proclaim the Glory of God…"
Somehow I kept thinking about Jesus Christ's suffering. Jesus as fully God knew the glory of God but in His human nature He suffered so much in our hands. Imagine Jesus looked at His mother and saw her in pain. Happy and sad.
