Whats crazy is there used to be sacrifices until an eclipse happen
I’m in IN. I left work at 2:30, home less than 10 minutes later. Our Boxer seemed a little nervous and didn’t want to eat. I was amazed at how dark it got here. It was in the path of totality so it was a full eclipse for us. Never seen anything like it. The brilliant Ring could be seen where the sun was. It was as dark as night, went inside to get the dog and it was complete darkness in the house. Saw birds flying away as if to seek shelter for nightfall. I saw several stars. It was just unlike anything. I’ve seen eclipses before but forgot they weren’t full as we weren’t in the main path. I was reminded how small and powerless we are as humans. Very quiet and dark. Except for the neighbors , annoying children or loud redneck hillbilly idiots.
Never saw a total eclipse of the sun and moon but i have taken interests in looking at the sky at night in the evening with the sun still shin ein gin in the sky and then you could see cresent moon amazeing as night time then the full moon and next tu the m oon is the first sparkling star in the sky may ye all wish upon the first star in thee sky would love tu see the total eclipse of the sun all the same a maagsnifesing as any special moment 😢😢
This is actually one of the best vids WM has put out all year and not garbage foder. I'm impressed. Bravo WM…bravo👏
My insulin pump stopped working and so did my phone. 😳
Just watched today's. It was beautiful and mysterious. I'm so glad I live ion the band of totality!!
It was awesome to see
This morning even though i don't have solar eclipse glasses and neither does my mom and yet we can already tell the morning wasn't shiny as it was before and my mom freaked out until i told her it was a solar eclipse.
My mom wanted to see it but can't because she doesn't have special glasses. I did notice it was suddenly windy and suddenly freezing when this weather it's supposed to be warm.
All I heard was the voice at the beginning and I knew that was Brian Cox. 😆
I could listen to that man all day.
6:27 HOLY CRAP that happened to me today, a cow stole my car!!!
I just experienced my first Solar Eclipse in Buffalo NY and I felt the temperatures drop, and how dark it was for a few minutes. It felt so ominous.
Only God can create this , not man He has us in the palm of His hands, Amen
I'm in DALLAS in see it first hand
I’m from Arkansas and we got 100% totality. It was the most beautiful freakiest thing I’ve ever experienced. So grateful I saw it 💕
Just got back from watching it just outside Indianapolis. The Shadow Bands were crazy. It's like most the color gets sucked out and things look like they are rippling.
So how the eclipse impacts the world is all the ridiculous things said by any and all media, and people believe it. Gezzzzz
it brought me back to life! i swear it was the most enlightening moment. im doing things i wasnt doing before. im aligned again. i feel like going to sleep at midnight! instead of 7am like i used to. this is amazing!
I had a great view in Lampasas today. It was cool, but I didn’t really feel any sort of way. I might be broken 🤷♂️
My friends thought I was crazy because they didn’t see the shadow bands and I did. Granted, I was pretty stoney balogna

Have I ever witnessed an eclipse? What kind of foolish question is that, of course I haven't… Oh, wait. Something's going on outside. Hold on…
I was lucky enough to see the eclipse twice in my life! It is a completely unforgettable moment I will admit.
This may be unrelated, but has anyone experienced eye strain sometime after an eclipse even if you wore the special glasses?
And I thought this was going to be interesting…🤔
Nothing has happened yesterday
Yea ngl I cried bc of how pretty it was 🥹
When Moving close to the sun I thought I saw speckle of tiny tiny starts in a small line pattern ,just a small glimpse ,like on the side of eclipse
I saw it in Albany Ga for the first time yesterday which was very interesting.
I have to admit to number 10. I thought it was just me but I felt a bit off until maybe 10 mins past totality. It was Ok its dusk, night dawn or day? Oh wait its 330pm? It isn't just that it gets dark. It is actually the full sensation of dusk–mosquitoes were biting, crickets were chirping, and it was cool and windy like it was a spring or summer night then as the moon moved away it was like morning and afternoon again all over that short span. You are left with this what just happened feeling.
Gee, and here I thought shadow bands were a new subgenre of goth.
I was disappointed that in “totality” (near Dallas) it never got darker than it usually does before a thunderstorm.
My eyes did feel weird the rest of the day though, even though I took all safety glasses and other precautions.
I haven’t heard any mention of the fact that, in order for the eclipse to occur, the dark side of the moon needs to be lit. Unless I’m misunderstanding it. This is a rather significant thing!
I actually saw the Shadow Bands yesterday!! It was cloudy all day in Hugo, Oklahoma where I was, up until about 12:25ish. Then the clouds finally broke at the last minute and we were able to see about 10 minutes before totality hit. Thanks to the clouds, I was even able to see these bands streaming across the sky in the clouds. Between that and the experience of totality, it was the most amazing thing I have ever witnessed in my entire life.
Oh, actually, I just saw the eclipse yesterday right after school, and it was mostly one of the 80s% percentages for us in Fairfax County, Virginia.
Austin was in the path of totality yesterday. It was awesome.
An eclipse happens all the time somewhere around the world so wouldn’t this always happen
I was lucky in the April 8th eclipse—I did get the shadow bands on video. I was using a piece of plywood painted white. They only last a few seconds before and after totality, I had one camera focused on the plywood. The appearance of the shadow bands is different in before and after totality. I had to darken the video a bit to see them. I did get totality, both diamond rings, Baily's beads, and the 360 degree dawn, and the approaching shadow. I now have to edit all this. Spectacular eclipse, and it was my 5th total I've seen in my lifetime. (Jan Griffiths).
Yeah, I know the moon is slowly drifting away from Earth. One day total solar eclipses will be a thing of the past. Annular eclipses will replace them. (Jan Griffiths).
So for people who saw the eclipse it was like in front of the moon's shadow 😲
OK, but none of these things are weird. These are known facts and anyways the wind and temp picked up during my clips until we were in totality.
I just witnessed my first solar🌕☀️eclipse a few days ago on April 8th, 2024…👌🏼 It was outstandingly incredible…🤘🏼💯✔️
imagine one day the moon just .. never goes from the sun
Just ask me how the eclipse looked in Seattle… Just ask me.
8:27 I Was Finna Say Why Did They Shadowban The Eclipse ? 😅
