I find it funny that the live action portrayals of thrawn, the grand inquisitor, and Morgan, are never going to match the animation.
It’s not really the makeup or acting, however in ROTS there was a ‘utapouan’(?) that looked way better than in Obi-wan.
It’s for sure the writing though. They tried to portray Thrawn as cunning like in rebels, but didn’t let him win because Sabine and Ahsoka could “do no wrong”
