Pita’s Farewell Tour, Chinese tourists dominating arrivals – April 8



Thailand news – Move Forward Party leader, Pita Limjareonrat, is starting a long goodbye as he acknowledges the Constitutional Court is likely to dissolve his party, Chinese Tourists, by far, lead the way, for foreign tourist arrivals in 2024.   1. According to the Chiang Mai Governor there is no problem with pollution in Chiang Mai. Seriously. An article over the weekend, he was saying something like it isn't always bad, just some of the time..

  2. I've never been to Samui but something tells me I need to visit before these new port facilities are built. The island will not be the same once those floating megastructures, (cruise ships) start arriving.

  3. As an over-70 foreigner who attempted to retire in Thailand, look to Alliance which is an excellent German insurance company. Alliance has excellent ratings but the Thai government would not recognize them as a provider of health insurance, pre-2019. Hopefully that will change.
