Has anyone considered that Zambia allows trophy hunting of elephants and this boy may have been shot at or witnessed his friends being slaughtered.
Perhaps if we didn't kill them they'd be more amenable to our presence.
I've seen loads of big bulls all over east and southern Africa and generally they are completely chilled out except in areas known for poaching or hunting

I can appreciate the beauty of nature from afar. I don't care if the vehicle is built like a Greyhound bus, I'm not participating in a safari. There's too much that can go wrong.

I avoid all jungles, oceans, forests, mountains, high grass etc. i don’t have to worry.
It's not about invading their territory,but so often in that region elephants are gunned down, and now these elephants have registered human as a threat.
