  1. Subliminal, fear-mongering military propaganda.
    Hegelian dialectic:
    1. Create or find an existing problem,
    2. Get the public react with fear or indignation,
    3. Propose a solution in form of more military spendings.
    4. Repeat 123

  2. Unfortunately, what seems like an interesting story is ruined by unnecessary feminist virtue signaling throughout, ad nauseam. By the end of the first episode I was done. Consistent emasculation of white men, (In fact all white people are portrayed as idiots, or weak) and childish interpretations of what it means to be a strong female galore, written by someone who seems to be angry, single, and still living in their parents basement. Not a clue about the real world. Given the origins of the books, I can't imagine any of this was actually in the novels. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure I'm not. Netflix… Please stop hiring these woke morons to write for you. Strong and independent people are not a race, or a sex. Stop writing them as if they were. It's idiotic. This series has serious racist/sexist undertones and is shameful to publish.

  3. I wonder how conspiracy tik tok is taking this?
The VR head set, Apple Vision Pro.
World at war, distracting people from the truth.
Threatening alien invasion / space war, clashing governments.
(I’m purely just speculating for fun)

Also the fact that this is ā€œtechnicallyā€ inspired by true events because of the Wow! Signal šŸŽ‰

  4. Never heard of the books and happened upon this while looking for a new series. So glad I've found it, only 1.5 episodes in and extremely excited about this one, but already worried about the being only one season out!

If you're sitting on the fence get off and watch this. Can't speak for fans of the books where high expectations might be held, but imagine even if a bit disappointing it's still a journey more than worthy of taking!

    Just wow!

  5. Was able to enjoy. Could not understand how the bombs got before the nano sail. Maybe to some distance. I know astronomy now if I have to go by the name. I always loved binary stars.

Yes, there have been binary star systems discovered with exoplanets orbiting around them. One well-known example is Kepler-16, which consists of a binary star system with a planet orbiting around both stars. This planet, Kepler-16b, is a gas giant and is not Earth-like, but it does demonstrate that planets can exist in binary star systems.
